Any updates on your progress? I'm probably doing it wrong, but I'm not a fan. I think the final design made some compromises for the sake of aesthetics that really harm the functionality of the device - i.e., it touches way too high on the forearm which limits the range of "bowing/pronation of the lead wrist unless you grip on tip of fingers.

 

Tried the hanger and had the same issue. I have a slight bow of my wrist at the top - the device almost forces a much weaker grip.

 

Same issue, I have a lot of bow in transition so im flexing the heck out of it so I will try it slightly more open. Other issue is how far it comes down on the butt end of the grip

that could mean you’re not rotating enough or your hands are traveling down the target line and not exiting left. both actions would close the club face. but I struggle w that too, for the above reasons

so i just got mine today and took it to the range. All I have to say is I love this thing. I felt like it really helped with shaft lean, not flipping and not getting stuck. basically took this dudes advice and only did chips and pitches with it. then took another iron and hit shots and went back and forth. agree need to set it slightly open. It's left handed too. So far 9/10.....

used this thing again today and yesterday. Had a GREAT ball-striking round! I also put a wrist guard where the hanger touches my lower arm which helps to prevent a bruise....

 

Now if I could only putt. Damn this f'ing game. Time for a new putter I guess, lol I'm such a club hoe....

this is one of two of the bigger drawbacks for me in using the hanger

I agree with you 100%, but using one of these it is much better. I had one laying around so was no big deal....

ah yes, sweat band. got a couple of those i can employ. now, if anyone has a solution to the other problem of the hanger encroaching too far up the butt end of the grip, i’m all ears

It serves so many purposes. I like it for teaching proper wrist angles.

I think it's been helpful for my own swing. There are other ways to get it done and whether it's worth the price is going to be up to each individual, but I found value in it and will occasionally make a few swings with it still.

I also have the power package and it's pretty much for the same thing as the hanger I like that a lot also. I've seen PGA pros on driving range use the power package before rounds. It also makes sure you are using wrists properly. 

I could never get use to the swinggyde. Just not for me.
