I like to stick with what works and what I can count on. I do have some thoughts on something new coming tomorrow though.

The black spins less than ATX blue for most players. We've mostly seen players go black in the fairway and white in the driver. Same with ATX blue. It has been mostly a 3 wood shaft choice.

Both are quite tip stiff shafts. If you like the Pro Orange where it is, and the weights are the same, you can safely go the same with Rogue Silver.

Would the black 130 be the logical progression from a rogue black 95? I know those weren't the tour end but they just worked with my swing and looking to toy with the driver.

Yes the TX is tour only. Stiffer tip, higher concentration of exotic materials, lower spin, etc. Companies will always capitalize on a products momentum to offer a version for OEM usage. The Rogue in Callaway product is an excellent shaft, but not exactly the same as the Tour TX version.

The Tour version also has laser etched graphics where the base models are simply screened on.

If your striping it on the button every time you might be able to See some difference. But most amateurs are not consistent enough to tell a noticeable difference.

the tx is more stable and might feel stiffer due to the use of the high end materials.

I answered this exact question one post above yours. TX is tour only, lower spin and launch, stiffer tip, firmer overall profile, higher concentration of certain materials, etc. The TX also has higher end laser etched graphics. There is nothing wrong at all with the subflexes and they are certainly better suited for the average player than the TX version, as that profile is designed for Tour and better players. Go hit the retail version and decide if you need something more stable and lower spin. If you do, go TX. If you don't, then go with the sub flex. Just because something is Tour only doesn't mean it's somehow better for every player. It just suits a different type of player and need.

Hopefully not beating a dead horse - just to a clarify another point this made me think of. I’m clear on the TX vs subflexes, but are those retail/sub-flexes the same version that’s now available as one of the options for the Callaway Mavrik?
basically what I’m getting at is are there now 3 categories of 130 White?
TX (rarest, specific materials, firmest) - Tour only (or via @TollBros ) Retail/sub-flexes (similar to TX, but slightly different materials, different firmness/flex options). I see these retail for $350Mavrik shaft - is it different from #2 above? Ie, is it a “made-for” with lesser materials and totally different profile? Or did Callaway put a $350 retail shaft in their new driver?

I haven't seen the aftermarket sub flexes yet. I don't know why people keep saying similar on the TX. I never said that. It's a different profile made for Tour. What I said is the sub flexes are much better suited for the average player and the TX is more suited for higher speeds and players who need lower spin and launch. If you see Rogue White as an uocharge upgrade in any OEM club, you can be assured it's the same as the $350 retail version. This thread is a review of the TX Tour profile. If you'd like one, feel free to DM me.

I already have 2, a 60TX and 70TX. When I said similar I meant they’re both higher end/aftermarket/expensive - however you want to look at it. In my previous post, for the subflexes, I specified different materials and firmness/flex. Apparently I omitted the word “profile” in that description which is your bone of contention. So yes I’m clear it’s a different profile.

However the question was really to differentiate what I thought would be a third offering since 130 White is a STOCK shaft with Mavrik, not an upgrade option.

I’m fully aware this is a review thread of the TX. Considering I have 2 and they were both expensive, I was simply asking a question about how it compares to the new retail/subflexes *and also* to the one in Mavrik.

You answered previously about the retail/subflexes so I’m clear on that.

I am now asking about the one that comes with Mavrik. To be clear - this is NOT an up charge shaft. It’s a stock option. I thought you would’ve been aware of that. See attachment.

So as an owner of TX, I’m simply asking a question about whether there are one or two NEW classes/ranges of 130 White since I find it hard to believe Callaway would include a $350 retail shaft as a stock option. And unlike other manufacturers, Aldila doesn’t make obvious graphical differences so I’m unsure if that is separate now from the new retail/subflexes. I cannot pick out details of laser etching or any other minuscule differences from available pictures.

Seems to me to be a pretty relevant question to pose in the review thread as I’m sure others are interested as well.
