Get a Hzrdus black shaft. Not the smoke version the actual original Hzrdus black. Pair it with a SIM head and you’ll be all set

V1x is NOT a spin killer. The 2019 V1x is the spinniest ball in the Titleist lineup.

You can go to the left dash V1x or the AVX to drop spin. The TP5x is also a good choice. Also another vote for the SIM 8* turned down. Should pick up ball speed, drop spin and launch and improve numbers if that's what you're after.

It’s not the spin killer it used to be, but it’s still not a high spin ball. The regular prov1 has its spin brought down to get closer to the v1x, but it’s still a rather low spin option off the tee.

 

There are lower spin options such as the avx, tp5x, and Srixon XV, but that doesn’t make the v1x spinny by any means

The Crossfield video is good info. You control spin with the driver the same way you do with any club. Swing slightly slower and control how the club contacts the ball. Much like a Stinger iron shot.

What launch monitor? I was on Trackman this winter with a screen 14 feet away, the numbers were really not correct.
