Thanks for the shots of the divot patterns, very cool to see. Only on WRX would we find range divots interesting. And maybe the turf management forums, haha. Also seem to be many Eyeline mirrors being used these days.

How is it that some Tour pros still don't know how to make a proper divot pattern on the range?

Definite ground under repair if you land in this spot on #1 of the Yellow course for the foreseeable future!

Greg, there is a thread going on in the Instruction forum about Pete Cowen's two thumb grips on irons and how they are positioned on the club. Is the Flat Cat grip on the normal way or is it turned at an angle?

Some insight from scoring for Scott Piercy yesterday:

First off, he is hilarious. He was just a riot to be around all afternoon.

His putter is amazing! Just flat out gorgeous. It's a black Newport 1.5 with a silver GSS face and only a sight dot.

He had nothing but great things to say about the new titleist woods. He said he gained consistently 10 yds on the 915 with the driver and felt the fw was much more versatile than previous versions - long off the tee and easy to hit off the grass. Not sure what shafts he was using previously but he had a Speeder Pro in the driver and some other unknown Fujikura shaft - looked like a Fuji Pro but metallic graphics - in his 3w.

I asked about his lead tape addiction. He said it was because he hated tip weights. He said he wanted to keep the cg centered on the head instead heelward. It's cheaper for a company to make lighter heads and then add a tip weight than make the head heavier so he used lead tape to bring the weight up to his preference.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I was lucky enough to speak with Scott on a putting green at a Hooters event several years ago in Peoria, IL. He was rocking a Cargill hat and logo on his bag. He was extremely friendly and didn't mind me asking him all sorts of questions. I've cheered for this guy ever since, definitely one of my favorites!

He really is a good guy. His humor is kind of dry but he was super cool all day. I am definitely a fan of his now.
