There are some more putters in that thread without Titleist on them too including the concept 2 rat that has been used twice this year to win. The rat 2 is an engraved fairly common tour putter. Not that big a deal to have no Titleist on a tour putter.

Actually, in order for Titleist to get credit for a putter in a tour event, they have to have their name or logo stamped somewhere on a putter.

Scotty even had to stamp a M on early putters to be considered Mizuno for tour events.

I read from a story about this putter on the PGA Tour's website that the Cameron reps said this putter has been in Rickie's possession for YEARS now. So all the comments about how Rickie is cleaning himself up and his image and all this other stuff based on the design of the putter should know that this was made for him while he was rocking the long hair and crazy colors, so lets not read too much into a putter.

I think the tei3, studio stainless, and studio style have that tri sole.

The rest are smoothed out. The tei3 has a very smooth triple cut..it's there, but not as pronounced as the others. Here are pics of some of my rock rollas:

Thanks. I've enjoyed the NP2 style for a while now but it's tough to get the GoLo out of the bag when there's so much confidence with it.

I know scratch asked and somebody said there was no finish and it's just GSS, but there's really nothing special done for the finish? Love the look of this thing.

Why Cameron does not continue to have this simple, time honored, fan favorite, no insert no gimmick, no finish, plain stainless steel Newport 2 is beyond me,,,,,,

Yes, I had also asked about the finish as it looks a bit more charcoal. It's a bead blasted finish.

The closest thing I have to ricky's putter is my studio stainless NP2. What a great and simple putter also! Of course I couldn't leave it alone and so I torched it and just love it!!!
