Which grips were you using previously? I felt these and was afraid they'd feel a little too mushy in the actual swing. They had a bit of a plastic feel, but you know it's hard to get a real sense just holding them before installing. I'm a crossline cord guy, so I'm afraid the iLine is too much of a 180* from that.

try the Pure Grip P2 amazing. rubber, not plastic. Really revolutionary. Just saying.

i still cna't decide between pure pro and pure dtx. leaning towards the pure pro. Either way, Pure grips are the way to go. great price and durable.

one thing i've been told and others can verify, size of pure grips without any tape is equal to other grips with one wrap of tape. therefor, if you typically play with 3 wraps, you should play pure grips with 2 wraps. correct?

That is correct on the sizing of the Pure grips. Because they were designed for air installation they will play true to size without any tape.

I was going to go with IOmic Stickys but have decided to go with the Pure Pros. The cost wasn't the factor, its the Made in the USA that has made me reconsider. Of course being able to get 3-1 grips for the price is not too shabby!

My son has the dtx on his and you seriously have to use a glove with these. More aggressive than cord grips. He loves them. I have the the pure pro and go gloveless. Like the gp tour velvet. I live mine. Just letting you know if you don't wear a glove.

Bit of an update.

I regripped one of my wedges today. I replaced the GP multi compound new decade grip with Sharpro Cat-3 Multi compound and it is fantastic. Every bit as good as the GP version, might even be a bit better. Feels really tacky, fairly 'soft/spongy'. They look really vibrant as well. The GP ones look faded in comparison.

Overall an excellent grip. It remains to be seen how long they last. But if I have to regrip them twice as often then it doesn't matter because they are a 1/4-1/3 of the price. I paid just over £2 each. The GP ones are about £6-8 each.

Highly recommended.
