I just don't get along with the VPC's! I don't know if it's the bounce, grind, or sole? What I do know is my forged splits feel 100% better, the sole goes through anything, the top line is thinner and the blade length is shorter.

I really do like the VPC's forgiveness on toe shots!

Turf interaction and feel are so much better for me too with the VR Forged PC's. VPC forgiveness is great on toe shots for sure... that's my typical miss. I kept the 2 iron in the VPC because of the forgiveness factor alone. It's great from the tee or a good lie on the fairway.

im not lying I hit a TON of shots out on the toe, and the VR PC's are pretty forgiving out there too!! LOL!
I love mine, by far best irons I've played in years, even coming from AP2's all last season
best part, is Golf Town had them on sale for $499 brand new in the box
this is what started the whole bag dump before the season started, but its all safe now

Ok, as a guy who has some Vapor PC's, what is the reason to go back to the VR PC's? Is it just the feel? I like the heel to toe length of the Vapor PC's. Are the VR's a lot shorter? The only thinkg I would say about the Vapors is that they lack a bit of feel, but that could be the shaft, grip, or whatever.

(sorry for the double post...I asked the same thing on BB's WITB too...)

Feel and turf interaction for me. I hit them shorter than the VPC, but my guess that is due to overall length or loft discrepancies. I only hit the VPC for a couple of rounds before I just knew something was missing for me. The VPC 2 iron from the tee is a BEAST though!

I'm a big feel guy so yes that plays a big part in it for me. I should've knowing from the first day I hit these at the store, but being a big Nike guy I got them any ways. I know it's not the shafts and grips, same shafts I've been using for years. The forged splits not only feel better, but the top line looks a lot better. The heel toe length is to long for me. The turf interaction is second to none IMO.

Was thinking about trying to get a set of VR pro blades because I love the feel of my 8-PW in the combos and can't stand how much is taken out (feel) in the 3-7. Huge feel player and just don't get the feedback in my combo set that I want. So I know what your saying.

I think I make more putts with the Casey, probably because the loft, lie, and length is straight from the Oven. The Rory is hotter of the face for sure and I like the look better at address. I need more time with the Rory. I really don't want to use the Casey anymore because it's pretty rare.

Rolled the Rory really good today! Two really nice birds. Only hit two greens today but I made them count! The short game is really good, kind of scared to get the engage wedges as I'm hitting the Oven wedges so good.

Just a little update, I got to play some golf over the memorial weekend. Played 27 on Friday, 36 Saturday and Sunday, 18 Monday, and 4 hours on the 3 hole loop Monday night!

The Rory is staying in the bag!

Lately I've been playing my Vr Forged Split Cavity irons from the Oven. They feel better then anything else imo! So easy to flight and work, but my miss is off the toe and this is killing me. So Monday late afternoon the wife said she won't be home until late . So I got a great idea lets put the VPC back in the bag. After 4 hours on the 3 hole practice loop the VPC's ended up back in the bag. They do feel as good as the Splits do but the forgiveness on toe is outstanding.

Looking good, MNNikeGuy! The 50 Square is a perfect gap wedge with the VR Forged PC's. I think my only mistake was ordering the 54TS, should have gone Square there too...

I didn't think any club could be better than my 52 I got at the Oven, but this 54 is unreal. Really thinking hard about the 50, but I never use more then two wedges.
First couple of shots with the TS I was wishing I would've went SQ or DS, but after the bunker shots I'm glade I went TS! The engage sure spin a lot more then my Forged do.

I think the Engage wedges are night and day better than the Oven VR's. My wedge game has gotten noticeably better with these, and like you, I LOVE the 54 Square! Hope you end up liking them as much as I have been!

The Engage definitely spin more, so I might have to change balls. I always play V1's or platinum. Thinking about the Black or the 1X? You still gaming the X?
I think if nike would release the black dot my problem would be solved.

One of my favorite shots. If the TS wasn't so easy in bad situations I'd get a 58* SQ.
