I am in Harrison Twp. I work in Auburn hills, lake Orion, port Huron, Troy so I don't care where I have to go if it is under an hour and not too expensive. Shepherds Hollow has 3 9's also.

I live in Ann Arbor but will make the trek east as it seems most of the interested people live on the east side. Of the courses Tom suggested, I have not played Rammler, Golden Hawk, or Stoney Creek. The course is secondary to getting a date set that everyone can live with.

What's your guys opinion about Shepherds Hollow? It's the only east side course that I have played but its one of my favorites in Michigan. The conditions have always been outstanding and I enjoy the 27 holes. Some have suggested pace of play issues but ive never had a problem and they have a great 27 hole rate. Worth the drive for me......Pure Michigan!

Weekends are easy for me, week days are more difficult. But if during the week works for most here I can more than likely make it happen.

As far as courses go, I'm open for anything. Shepherds Hollow, Boulder Point, Fieldstone, Cherry Creek, The Orchards, Westwynd, Sharf or Katke... Just to name a few good ones.

Wknds work best...would be great to get some times early in morning and then some early afternoon to do 36 holes at Sheppard Hollow, Boulder, etc. Fathers day is no good.

Also, after looking at people's locations, my first thought for a course would be The Orchards. Plus it's generally in very good shape. But if we are looking for something more central, I'd say Shepherd's Hollow, plus it's right off the highway.

Blackheath, played there yesterday, greens were cut and liquid fertilized, some real green in color and pretty quick, they usually go out of their way to accommodate groups for informal outings

I'd be interested - I can only play weekends and I've played The Orchards, Shepard's Hollow, Fieldstone, & Stoney Creek numerous times. I'd love to play the Oakland U courses and I missed an outing at Blackheath last year but I hear its very nice.

I live in Grosse Pointe so I'm used to driving for golf.
