Garsen Puter grips

I'm looking to try a garden grip. Which model do you recommend I try first.

 

I was thinking either ultimate or max. Seems like the ultimate is more like the SS so I was thinking max.

 

Also how big is the max if compared to SS

When you guys are installing, how do you align the rib so that it goes on square?

I recently contacted Mr. Garsen and he told me the best way is to make

sure the line on the butt end of the grip between the GPRO logo is

straight while looking down at it. Took his advise and it was very simple.

I just got a 15" max from mr garsen and I love it. It is similar in size to a super stroke 2.0 +

The Max grip has made me take all of my Superstroke Flatso's off my putters... Not sure I could use another style grip again.

I totally agree with you. Since using the MAX grip I'm AMAZED on how good my stroke feels now and how much my putting has improved. I'm looking forward to trying the 15'' Max grip.

On your #7 which is the same putter I have, how did you get the proper grip alignment with the center rib?

I actually used a piece of string that I taped to the head and kept it on the same line as the face of the putter, then lined it up through there on the vice... once it was on though, I took it off the vice and aligned it by using more feel than anything else to see exactly where I wanted the alignment, and I think I moved it a little off center because it felt more comfortable... but very happy with the position it's in now. Hope that helps.

Do these putters grips still allow real good ball feel on the face? Meaning that my Bettinardi HM2 with their standard grip has excellent ball feel to my hands.

 

The oversize Flatso slim 3.0 grip I used to have on my Seemore Z2c literally has no face feel.

Good to hear. Ordered the G Pro Edge...

 

I have no idea how people can feel anything with the Superstroke grips. The grip feels good but I can't feel the ball

Are the longer max grips which I believe are 14.75 or 15" retail? I bought one last week and re-read the specs after buying and noticed that it was 14.75" and classified as tour issue. Too long for me so I got one on the way l that is 10".

Had my best round of my life today I can't say enough on how the Garsen Max grip has improved my putting.

I only had an opportunity to hit the putting green for an hour, but I am LOVING how this one feels. I was not a fan of the white paintfill on top so I removed it and find this much cleaner looking. Much prefer this grip so far over my previous gamer which was a SS mid slim 2.0.

Just saw on the Garsen facebook page that there coming out with colors and a new design.

Very curious to see what that could possibly be.

Good to see that his Ultimate grip is getting noticed as well. IMO Garsn grips really do have something other grips don't have

that really benefit your putting stroke Iv'e never been so comfortable over the ball.

Just installed a G-Pro Max on my White Hot Pro 7 and I must say that in the beginning it felt awkward, but the more I grip it the easier it gets. The placement of the right hand is what took the most getting used to. Haven't taken it out for a round yet but it looks promising.

I have a light blue Ultimate on my putter and it's great. Quiet hands.

What grip did you go with? I tried my regular overlap but it seems like an interlock might be better suited?

I would suggest that you work with it for a while to see what suits you best. I ended up with a double

overlap which feels really good. It even felt good left hand low.

Yes the Edge is the smallest It's almost a midsize.

I go left hand low and overlap my right index finger between my middle finger and ring finger, my hands sit perfectly on almost every grip like that.

I had no luck with the Edge. My fingers just are too long and couldn't find a comfy position on the grip. I am going to blow it off tonight if someone wants its.

Put an Edge Pro on my backup today. Excited to go roll some balls with it soon.
