I would build either a Callaway Big Bertha or Big Bertha Alpha depending on trackman results to replace my Diablo Octane which I hit mostly straight but with way too much spin to optimize my distance. It would be really interesting because I have played golf for 25 years and currently play at a relatively high level but used anything other than an off the rack club. Would love to see what differences in spin I would have with different shafts. Thanks Modern Golf!

If I were going for necessity to improve my game, I'd build a nice set of irons, 5-PW, as I already have hybrids that work well to replace the 3 and 4 irons, and I already have a nice gap, sand, lob wedge, but I don't really like the feel of my current irons.
Irons would be forgiving but with medium offset, akin to Ping i25 irons or Titleist AP1 perhaps, with an upright lie angle.

If I were going just to have fun, you can't beat hitting the driver to see how far you can improve distance. For a driver fitting, I think I'd like to try the Ping G25 and the Callaway Big Bertha, as I like that movable slider bar at the back of the clubhead, and I'd probably put in a Fujikura Fuel or a Mitsubishi Fubuki shaft or a Kuro Kage if available (counter-balanced), depending on whichever worked best for my swing speed, as I am usually stuck between an R flex and a S flex as to what I like the feel of, so it is hard to find that "perfect" shaft.
Would be fun to try a bunch of them at the shop for an hour.

I would go through an entire iron set club by club hitting each one and receiving feedback and fitting my self for each iron and not just a set of specs, I've realized now there is a big difference.

With one hour I'd either want custom grind wedges or try as many shafts in a driver as possible. If I had more time I'd love to really tune the lofts on all my irons and wedges to get the gaps just right.

I would zero in my irons perfect. i would re grip, reshaft with right shaft for me, cut down to my size, change lie , and change the angles on them.
