Settle an argument for me between the Wife and I

My wife never complains about the all of the golf equipment I have or the constant influx of packages containing golf equipment. She only complains that I spend too much time at the course.

You've got to educate your wife. Just say, "well, it's better to play golf than look at porn, which is what most of your girlfriend's husbands are doing. But hon, I hear you. I will try to do better. But see, my game has improved and I am giving away these surlyns to the First Tee Program."

 

 

 

If that doesn't work, see what happens when you hint that she has too many shoes.

Except my game hasn't improved. But I am working on it. If I get to below a 5 handicap I will donate ALL except the lethals to a charity. So search my username and find my thread asking for help with my swing!

The golf course I play doesn't have that many in stock!? I only buy one dz. at a time. When they are gone, I buy another dz. Btw, my wife is always right! I don't like the beatings!

No don't go up against shoes. Shoes are essential to walking - in fact, so are handbags, because of all the stuff she needs to bring - golf balls, not so much, especially as you can find used ones in the woods.

Now if you happen to have a few on you when you're out strolling the neighbourhood and someone becomes aggressive with your wife and you're pin accurate when pitching a golf ball, and nail the guy - saving your wife ... then she may become more forgiving of your collection, but what are the odds?

Seriously, I've done nothing wrong here, I've not argued with anyone, been rude, disrespectful, not said one foul or cross thing, but have gotten two warnings, one for posting and trying to be interactive which they claim was to get to the classifieds area (it wasn't), and another one for trying to trade off sleeves of golf balls with people who would actually WANT them. What the hell? Why is this place so heavily moderated? It's insane. You are trying to fix things that aren't problems. I'm off to another site, ban me, whatever. I can't post and interact here, I can't trade stuff here, the only thing I can do is just view threads.

I've read a lot of complaints about this place but tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I am done. You are trying to put out fires where no one has even struck a match. You can have this place.

I hope you all have good times with golf and hope to see you out there someday.

Every time this argument comes up all I do is open our walk-in closet and show how much space she "owns" and that usually shuts her up
