Why are clicgear push carts so good?

I just ordered a clic gear 3.5+ from golf USA for a great price with there pricematch and 15% off. I can't wait to get this thing on the course to give my shoulders a break. After all the research I did, it appears clic gear is the way to go

I have owned a Speedcart since they came out. It has only turned over once because the knob was stripped and I was on a sidehill. I replaced the knob and it's solid again. I'm surprised to hear you had a constant problem with it. I can't think of a time where I saw anther tip his cart, of any brand, over.

I guess I should have said flipped backwards, front wheel up, rather than turned over.

I don't know if you like to do this, but on a downslope I like to let the cart roll and just walk. When the front wheel hits a bump, the Speed Cart often flipped all the way up and turned over; the Clicgear literally NEVER does this. The other instance is when the umbrella is in the holder on the handle; again, the Speed Cart is prone to flipping back when a gust catches the umbrella. With the Clicgear, the umbrella might turn inside out, but the cart is NOT going to flip. The COG is just that different on the two.

I should say that both are great pieces of equipment. I was never unhappy with my Speed Cart for a second until I tried the Clicgear. But the size difference in my trunk, plus the stability, were just too much to pass up.

+1 for clicgear 3.5. Only cart I've owned and thoroughly impressed with its build quality. I picked mine up on sale with a couple coupons for $180.

Own a clic gear 3.5 and what makes that the winner for me?

The seat. Only problem it is toilet height and by the end of the round I have to use the restroom.

Any one else with a seat have this problem or just me?!!

Used to have the Sun Mountain with inflatable wheels....yeah those are tough to put air into....now the plastic wheels on clic gear are a huge improvement and sold me.

I have the original 1.0 version with the air filled tires, friend has the solid tires. I feel mine rolls smoother. Regardless, they're both Clicgears, and more than satisfied with them.

Another +1 for the clicgear. I never clean it, spends a lot of time in the bed of my truck and it gets tossed around a lot. Never a problem.

Go to your local golf shop and push them all around. You'll notice the difference

Does anyone have the adjustable umbrella holder for the Clicgear? If so, how much larger is the diameter of the adjustable one over the standard (non-adjustable) one that comes with the cart? If I could get a measurement that would be great.

I have an Ecco umbrella with a moulded handle that is too big for the stock umbrella tube, so I need either a new umbrella or a new holder. If the adjustable holder is a real benefit then I may as well just get that, but only if the size is right!
