Who's playing a Scotty GoLo?

I've been playing the Golo 5 for just two months now but I love it. Coming from a Ping Redwood D66 it's has less two hang and obviously is larger in general but it's been a great change. I really feel like I'm much more confident in my 5-10 foot putts. I think it's got some serious potential of sticking around.

I play my button back for most rounds, but just added a Golo 5 w/a XL SC Matador grip and am having good results. I like a little toe hang and this is working.

On a side note, how do people get their GOLO 5s into blade Scotty headcovers without stretching them. I remember seeing quite a few threads since the 5 was introduced showing it in blade covers.

You don't. All GoLo putters have a mid mallet cover. The blade covers don't work.

The cover looks "bladey" so maybe that's what you're perceiving

I know that they all come with mid mallet covers, I just have seen threads showing that they supposedly fit blade clvers.

Another Golo DB user here. Only had it for about 3 rounds and I love it. My short putts were my biggest weakness (inside 10 feet). I've used anything from a Scotty Newport 1 and 2, Odyssey pt10, TM Spider, belly putters, and most recently an odyssey versa #7 with a superstroke. Nothing has ever worked. But the golo DB is money inside ten feet and my lag putts have been phenomenal. Loving this putter so far, i'm thinking its gonna stay for awhile.

I've been using a Golo 7DB for a few months and really like it. So much so I want to add a standard length non-DB Golo to my arsenal. the DB is face balanced. Does anyone know if there is a standard face balanced version, or which one is closest to face balanced?

I love my Golo S center shafted. Been sent out to the custom shop and got a complete makeover. Also have superstroke 3.0 USA grip going on it!

I just pulled the trigger on a 2014 GoLo S5. Be here in a day or two. Pretty excited to go back to a Cameron after almost a decade with other brands.

Are any of you playing around with the weights? or are you sticking with stock?

Playing around with weights seems like an expensive experiment.

GoLo 5 center shaft…I had switched to a center shaft with a Seemore M3 a few years back, and bought the Scotty on a whim to be an "office putter" around February. I absolutely loved (and still love for that matter) the Seemore, but the Scotty is in my bag.

Thanks Zoltan. Where do you recommend buying the weights? Use genuine Scotty weights?

Both should be ~ 330g naked with no weights.

GoLo 7 38 inch Counter Balance. Absolutely fits me to a tee

So I just received mine -- S5 center shaft. I'm blown away by the appearance, online pics make it seem like it should be larger, to me at least. The size is perfect. Having the shaft just off center helps me see the alignment line much better than a true center shaft putter. I love the sound on impact. Also the shaft and grip combo makes me feel the ball leaving the face -- immediately know when I put a good stroke on it. Usually put Super Strokes on my sticks… not this one.

I am seeing a bunch of these on the used internet market. I wonder why.

Did a little custom work to my GoLo 5 Black. Refinished the original red sole plate to satin silver, added orange paintfill and a new orange pistolero.

I love this putter!
