DG Pro will launch higher. Or at least should according to specs.

Finally hit the Vapor PCs US and Asian Spec 7i and pw also the Vapor Pros.

I guess I'm spoiled by my Tourstage 701Gs. I found both a little wanting in the feel department.

They were soft but I remember my VR PCs as being softer. If I'm not going to get that soft feel I might as well go Covert Forged or even VRS Forged.

Saw Rory is still has the VR Pro's in the bag in Abu Dhabi. It will be interesting to see if they ever come out. I guess you can't blame him the way he continues to hit it.

Right, if I were hitting it as well as he has for the last year or so I would not change. That being said, the VPC irons are the best I have ever hit, worth every penny.

I played last Sunday 43 and rainy with my VPCs . It will be partly sunny mid 50s Monday so I'll give them a full 18 and post a review. Initial round was very promising. Loved the flight and distance from the PXI 6.0!

For the guys with VPC irons, how many came from vr pro combos or vr pro combo cb's?

I ask because I made a slight swing change and hit my modus shafted 2011 left handed vr pro combos very well and yet to hit the VPC's (no lefty love) .....sooooo, major upgrade or not?

Can anyone provide a [b]real-world [/b]comparison of the VPC/Pro long irons (6 and below) shaft-for-shaft? I've hit both in the sim and while the VPC launches a bit higher, particularly on low hits, I can't tell if it's the DG Pro shaft vs. the S300 in the Pro. About to place my order and I'm debating whether to order my 5/6 in VPC...I prefer the feel and look at address of the Pro over the VPC and have no problems launching the short irons, but don't want to hamstring myself with long irons that launch significantly lower when thinned.

I had the VR Pro Combos and now play the VPCs (I skipped the 2014 PCs due to my love of VRS Forged). Its night and day difference. The VPCs are at least a club longer for me and way more forgiving. I played/play at std Nike length, loft, and lie.

I came from the 2014 pro combo cb's and like Shakey said the VPC's are a major upgrade in terms of forgiveness and distance.

I also played the covert forged and the VPC's are almost as forgiving but have a profile closer to the pro combo cb's so it's literally the best of both worlds.

VPC and Modus 3 130 shafts definitely outperforming Bridgestone DPC and steelfibers.

I as well went from the 14' PCs and switch to the VPCs and they are longer and more forgiving! Only thing I noticed was the long irons in the 3,4 in the Vapor have a higher ball flight (no ballooning) than the 14s long irons but no distance loss and I gained some extra yards in the VPCs. I had the Same shafts in each set the DG ProX100 and they are awesome for me!

I'll add this about the difference. I had a tendency to stick the VR PCs in the ground. I guess it was due to the sharper leading edge compared to the VR Split Cavities that I had played previously. I have yet to have one do it once with the VPCs.

Same here! Today is my VPC's first test run outdoors and I can't wait! I'll report back later.

40-36 today on Par 71...will take it for January, so all good. Irons performed very well, touch windy so hit only about half the greens. Still think this is the best forging they have done in a LONG while, feels soft and dense with great feedback on both VPC and VP...just really am impressed with the set. Modus 3 Tour 120 TX in these is amazing also...great feedback and consistency..

What was your set makeup with the VP and VPC? Curious because a lot of people I know have been stopping at the 8i for the Pros and having the rest be the VPC.
