Can someone compare the 60 DS and TS? I have the 60 TS, and its great from the sand and close to the green, but 1/2 or 3/4 wedge shots are giving me a little trouble, losing them a little right, maybe the weight of the toe. Thinking of maybe trying the 60DS. Thanks for any thoughts.

I just wish the DS would be available in a 54* or 56*. I know the TS have got some good reviews but for my sweeper swing it sounds like it won't work as well. That and I use my 54* for full shots a lot. Anyone have or played a SS as their SW? Can you open up the SS pretty easily?
I have 56 ss and 60 ds bent to 61. No issue opening the 56 or out of traps with it.

Spoke to a rep yesterday and his opinion and. I agree was ds for you highest lofted wedge, 58 or 60, and ss for everything else.
That is surprising, been lots of rave reviews on the TS.

I am having the same issue with my 54 TS on full shots. Yesterday I decided to loft/lie all three of them. The 50 SQ was good. The 54 and the 58 were both 1 degree weak and about the same amount flat. I'm hoping the flatter lie is causing the miss to the right and the adjustment solves it. I bent them both back to std specs. If it doesn't storm here all weekend I'll try them out and report back.

Mine are 1 deg upright, like the rest of my clubs. I had the original 60 TS and did not seem to have those issues, I am not sure if it's the extra weight on the toe, seems be more toe heavy than the original. I am going to keep working with it, but my initial findings are not really good.

How come most are having difficulties or worried with the TS and half/full shots? Is it due to the grind or something else ?

What type of miss does it cause, fat or thin in general?
It seems to me that with the TS grind/sole it's made for getting out of bad spots and horrible lies. I found myself in several of those first round out and it preformed way better than my Vokey TVD M's or my Cleveland RTG's would in those situations. I am definitely a digger/driver type wedge player and on the only long shot I tried with the 60TS it definitely dug in (super fatty) but I feel like that is extremely helpful in thick ugly lies and the sand. I hit some amazing shots from some terrible places yesterday (missed way too many greens yesterday) and saved par and made a couple of birdies. Played with some new guys in the league and they thought I was a short game wizard. Definitely helped turn an 83 round into a 78 round. Depending on how I like the 52 SS I picked up I may go to a 3 wedge system with the 52SS bent to 51, a 56SS bent to 55, and the 60. Use the 55 and 51 for longer pitches and chips and keep the 60 for all the trouble lies I seem to find ( I play mostly public courses and you definitely find some interesting lies...).

I was picking up my new set of Rotex 2 Clevelands last night (50/54/60 all 2 dots) and the manager opened a box of these from Nike. He hadn't ordered any and Nike UK had just added a selection onto a shoe and shirt order. One look and they were going back! I like the idea that they will rust but the shapes are just too funky for the majority of trad loving low hcp players....

Maybe for me the TS is to be used for sand and in the rough, which it has been great. I have the 56 square and it's been great from the fairway.

I'm thinking some having trouble in the honey moon phase are not used to the low bounce on these wedges. I know the 52 SS is like an 8* bounce maybe that has something to do with the fat chunks some guys are experiencing. Based on some of the reviews I've seen about the wedges, Nike decided to lower the bounce to create more versatility for use in each wedge.

Maybe for some, but not for me... I have always used low bounce wedges. For me, the 54TS feels so toe heavy that I am having trouble adjusting. Most of my misses with this club are right of intended line. I measured loft and lie on all and bent to my traditional specs too. For me I think it has to do with opening the face... I'm going to be playing it more square to see if it changes the results.

I'm same. Always use low bounce. Sweeper here, and I play on hard pan. The issue I have is finding the balance of the TS. By balance I mean fine line of open and open like a DS. The TS slightly open, like I have said is phenomenal. Best way to describe it is,the weight in the toe wants to open the face more. Just takes some getting used too. I'll have it all figured out today during range time.

Take a TS if you have one,and address it to ground, but don't grip it with too much pressure. Let the club face naturally do its thing with the weight. You'll see the head wants to pivot per se towards the heel relief opening the face more. Again, just what I have experienced and just need one more range time to get it all sorted.

This wasn't just for you cmb. I quoted others too,but just shows you.

I ordered that exact set up, 52SS bent to 51, 56SS bent to 55 and 60TS. I've been playing TVDKs 56 bent to 55 and a 60 and liked the head shape of these much better.

tried to play 18 today, but only got in 6 :( (work and such)
anyways, had a chance to hit the 60 TS a few times

as mentioned before, out of the bunkers, just close ur eyes and swing, that ball is coming out no matter what
had to get up and down twice green side, and the first one i came up short, as i wasn't expecting it to check so much
it one hopped and literally stopped
I hit a few practice balls again to get a feel afterwards.....you can fly it TO the hole w these

next hole I did just that and flew it to 3" for a kick in
these wedges spin

and yes...... that was 3 up and downs in 6 holes!!! LOL!
love hate w the game some days

Are you having to open the face for bunker shots like with traditional wedges or can you play them pretty squarely?

really depends on a lot of things: distance to where I want the ball to go, wind, lie, type of shot I want to play
if its a straight forward 10 yard ish bunker shot, good lie, no wind - square face

thought they have some of the worst turf interaction I have ever felt
This is where I'm at so far. Going to play another 18 today and hopefully it goes a little better. Around the greens they are amazing, hit a shot from the lip of a waste bunker I give full credit to the wedge for getting on the green. I need to be able to hit full shots better though, definitely not going in the bag for a tournament tomorrow.

Edit - Should add some thoughts on spin, pretty decent but nothing extreme by any means. My scratch wedges all spin a little more.

Mine had three white labels and a silvery Nike one that peeled off quite easily. For some reason, considering mine are in England, mine also had a label stating the RRP in Canadian dollars! I am all for keeping abreast of exchange rates and currency fluctuations but not on my wedges, thanks.

Ah that would explain it.I didnt see you were across the pond. They are imported that way.In canada, we have the same problem as the stickers are bilingual french and english and they are plastered up and down the shafts. Askany canadian who has shopped at golftown( they own golfsmith) how difficult it is to remove their stickers like you said it takes a half hour!!!

I just noticed on the range that my 54SS had a beveled edge like the VPC and the 50 does not. I decided to hit some sand shots w the 54 square and it was pretty solid. Will be good for a little lower shot if needed.
