Are these weights being talked about raw uncut weights? Or are they cut weights? What is the weight for a raw uncut s400 amt 3 iron shaft?
A raw uncut X100 AMT 3 iron 40 inch shaft weighs 113 grams. S400 shaft should be 1-2 grams heavier than this.

TM SLDR 430 9 Speeder TS 7.2 stiff (no tipping, 44.75 inch, upright setting, D4)
TM M1 430 8,5 Kurokage XT 70 X (no tipping, 44.5 inch, -0.5 lower, D4.5)
TM SLDR fairway 15 Speeder TS 8.2 stiff (0.5 tipping, 42.5 inch, +0.5 higher setting, D3)
TM M1 fairway 15 Kurokage XT 80 X (0.5 tipping, 42.5 inch, standard setting, D3)
TM SLDR hybrid 19 Speeder 9.8 stiff (1 inch tipping, 40.25 inch, standard setting, D3)
TM M1 hybrid 19 Kurokage silver tini 90 TX (no tipping, 40.25 inch, -0.5 lower setting, D3)
Mizuno MP-H4 3 iron DG AMT X100 (39.25 inch 1 degree weak, D3.5)
Mizuno MP-69 5-9 (5 iron 1 degree strong, +0.25 length, DG AMT X100 ss 1x, D3.5)
Vokey SM6 46-08F, 50-08F, 54-08M, 58-08M (+0.25 length, DG AMT X100, D4-D6)

I have a question. From the information about AMT shaft, butt end of the longer iron shafts are thinned to maintain constant swing weight and tip stiffness. Does this mean that the longer shafts are softer than regular DG shaft CPMwise?

What is the weight of raw uncut X100 AMT PW shaft? 130 g like regular X100? Or heavier? Once they are released, I am thinking of getting a set of X100 AMT softstepped either 1x or 2x and am wondering what the weight ranges of those sets would be?

Please read my post. AMT shaft for PW is actually 36.5 inches long and weighs about 133 grams. 37 inches long AMT shaft has the same step patterns and weight as a regular DG shaft. I think we are in the same boat. I am using 6X shafts for drivers and DG X100 straight-in feels a little stiff for me.

Anyone else get these or try them out yet?
Been using them for 3-4 weeks. Great stuff. They really help spread out the yardages in the long irons. Was able to add a 3 iron with them because of the improved launch.

Saw these on all the new Titleist irons yesterday......very small shaft band compared to the one we see in this thread, which leads to the question to TT, regular version and a Tour Version like the std DG? Or is the version that we see in Tour the same as what's in the new irons? If their different, how so?

Thanks

It's standard Dynamic Gold vs. Tour Issue Dynamic Gold. Same will apply with AMT. The Tour Issue shafts have a Tour Only weight tolerance of +/- .5 grams along with the screened shaftband.

I'd like to think the weight tolerances on the standard AMT will be a bit tighter than they are for the standard DG. I doubt it is, since the overall idea of the shaft would be preserved with the low irons having lighter shafts than the high irons/wedges, but it just seems to me that tolerances should be tighter on a product that's distinguishing feature is weight.

I 100% agree that weight tolerances should be tight. Would defeat the purpose if they are off a few grams here or there.
Exactly, that's why the tour pro's get the nice white tour issue sticker and the hacks get the retail band.

Weight tolerances on retail AMT will be same as std DG +/- 1.89g which are still tighter than any non TT Tour Issue out there. Thankfully our gold mfg process and variable wall technology allows us to maintain these tolerances even within a non-constant weight design. One of our competitors is +/- 3.5g on everything and the other is +/- 5g.

Weight tolerances on AMT TI will be +/- .5g like DG TI.

I'm confused with how the S400s will play. Will they be more so of a tweener shaft now flex wise between S and X, or will each one actually weigh more than their S and X counterpart and retain the heavier "feel". Either way very excited to try these out.
