Been using them for 3-4 weeks. Great stuff. They really help spread out the yardages in the long irons. Was able to add a 3 iron with them because of the improved launch.

Sure. The shafts are very consistent. The PW and 9 iron are normal Dynamic Gold.

The feel for me was just not what I like. Each shaft felt like the other through the bag even with the change in weight.

I just fit better into Project X 6.0. I lost a touch of distance, height and spin increased. It's been along time since I played Dynamic Gold and my swing is much better than it used to be so I figured it was worth a shot.

Great shafts and I hope they end up with a Project X version as the Dynamic Gold profile doesn't fit me perfectly.

Thanks K! I'm a fan of PX but it doesn't like my tendons.....DG fits me well and now with AMT , dg progressive and xp 115 I'm sure something will give me the performance and confidence I'm getting with DGR300's now...

Interesting, throughout this thread and others here I am seeing a trend of people (assuming they are not looking for "lightweight" shafts) moving back or towards traditional Dynamic Gold shafts.... does anyone else see this trend? This really surprises me...I would have thought Modus, PX or AMT would have been a huge step up on technology or feel?

5 years ago I absolutely couldn't stand SG S300s, couldn't hit them hight enough at all, probably due to only playing golf for 1 year. Was playing PX 5.0s and 5.5s then 2 years ago went to C taper lite and been playing them since. I do like them go quite far, but lately i've noticed that the days I'm not swinging well my tempo goes out of whack especially with short irons when my distances start going all over the map. Tried an S300 ap2 9 iron yesterday and it felt so much heavier than my current set up, but my swing just felt so much more in tempo and smoother. It felt amazing, my avg carry distance went down by 3 yards over my current 9 iron but dispersion long and side to side was so much better. So i started thinking these might be the perfect shaft for me now.

Yes, the 9 iron and wedge shafts are lite in the C tapers Lite's as they are about 100 grams cut! You should check the gram weight of these two irons and they should be, 9 iron 444 grams and the PW about 451. If your lighter than that, it's really light.

I'm sticking with my C Taper Lite's for now, but these have my eye.

I'm loving the X100 AMT in Epon AF 302 irons. Definitely seeing a little more height in the long irons leading to longer shots. Might be the irons an extent as I was playing MP68's with Nippon ST Proto's. Lofts are the same, but there is less spin and more height with the Epons and AMT combo. About 1/2 club to a full club longer. Feel is very balanced and I like having the short irons with more weight. For X100 players seeing some bunching in yardage gaps at the top the answer may not be hybrids, it's AMT.
