Cure Putters?

if you have a ton of weights on the cure (i have an RX-3 and love it), does anyone else have issues with the headcover not fitting? My weights extend too far off the back for the headcover. Debating either going without headcover or taking a couple of weights off the back so it still fits, provided performance is still adequate.

I've never kept mine loaded up with all the weights, buy If you currently have aluminum weights on it, you could buy the extended weight kit and get to the same approx weight using only stainless weights and it would take up less space...

I've purchased an Evnroll putter that I hope to test favorably against my Cure.

I guess its supposed to be the same general benefit with mishits but it doesn't look like a potato masher. Because if I have one complaint with the Cure style putters, is that I have trouble lining them up from time to time on short putts. In our club championship I bet I missed 5 putts inside 3ft just because I was so used to scooping them (shame on me) with the Cure RX3.

I've had many putter fits and none of them have found my true lie angle so I'm very interested in the adjustable cure putters but there doesn't seem to be a cure fitter in Australia. I think my dynamic lie is around 65 degrees. I'm concerned that the 1.5 degree loft might not be forgiving on a bad stroke or rough greens. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Very interested in trying the Cure putters. I could be wrong, but I thought I saw Ernie Els gaming a red one last week. The lack of customer service in today's golf equipment industry is mind boggling. You would think that customer service would be their #1 priority with equipment sales being what they are. A friend suggested that the reason for not returning phone calls/e-mails is that they are all out golfing. :taunt:

Welllllll, if the greens are rough the ball is going to be "bouncing around" anyway, no ? :D

On "normal" and faster greens the lack of loft causes no issues that I can see. As I'm sure you know you can adjust the lie angle yourself at any angle you set so you shouldn't need a "fitter". Distance control can be challenging sometimes though but no putter that I've even tried is more forgiving, solid, or easier to keep on line during the stroke.

Also, the sole of the Cure putters (at least the one I have) is dead flat so once you get the angle just right for your stroke the putter itself actually aids in your setup as, if the putter isn't lying dead flat behind the ball you know something is a little off. It's almost impossible to be toe up or heel up by "accident". Makes setup a bit easier.

If you mean the red putter, it's a "Bloodline" (I thought it was an Evnroll at first). Check this out http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/1502346-ernie-els-putter-us-open/

And yeah, Cure doesn't answer any emails. :dntknw:

I tried out the RX4 Center shaft at a store and loved it but it was just too big for me. I then ordered the RX3 straight shaft since it is a little smaller. After I ordered it I realized it is heel shafted instead of center shaft. I can't get ahold of cure. Does anyone know if the RX3 is face balanced like the RX4 is? If not I don't think I will like it.

Thanks
