Talking to a couple of guest at the retirement and #1 guy just recently had a fitting. He got up to 103 swing speed with a 7 iron but loses it right.

#2 guy just starting but only plays because his FIL. He is listening and says I hit my 7 iron 125 yards.

I stop, look, and say "he is taking how fast he swings".

#2 guy: Oh. Well, how far is the average 7 iron.

Me: probably 155-165

#2: Damn I suck.

We al laugh. Suppose to play some rounds and hit up Top Golf.

Driver was going 280-290.. Bout right

19 hybrid about 245.. Was kind of surprised

7 iron... 225 or something like tht.. Knew that wasn't right so then questioned everything I was seeing that evening.

If I ever get one like that I always go back and look at the exact shot and find out where it is - chances are it might be just a tagging error thats probably easily fixed. I've had one big error like that so far but it was an easy fix.

I'd go back and look at that hole. Chances are its probably something easy to see.

My 7i is only around 135-140. Driver is around 200-205 so if there's danger around there, I'll be hitting 3 wood.

I haven't gotten a lesson from Don since my little 'test' lesson with him last August. Apparently there's some, let's just say shenanigans, going on at Clustered right now. So I don't want to end up in that proverbial Hornet's Nest. My distances are just approximations due to how I hit the clubs during my playing at Black Rock.

I'm confused I thought all the guys on here hit their 7 iron 225 JJ. I thought I was the only one hitting 7 iron 155 and drives that only go 235 - 240

There are times when I can run out there and catch my drives however LOL
