Looks good. Is the neck welded to the putter head ?

Milled, my DD201 had a welded plumbers neck.

Interesting. I guess that means Kari has inventory of some one piece milled Sensors with plumbers neck and also some with flow neck style. That's cool.

Do you happen to know if Kari has his own CNC milling machine ?

Most custom putter makers take their own head shape designs to a milling shop and (to be cost efficient) I think order a run of at least 25 to 30 heads. Maybe Kari has his own milling machine and, or, has access to one so that he may mill single heads and not have to order a minimum quantity ?

And some custom putter makers I believe have their head designs milled with no neck. So they keep an inventory of head styles and later attach a separately milled neck to meet customer preferences, such as plumbers style versus flow style, center shaft versus heel orientation etc...

Kari has his own manual and CNC milling machines. Everything except some finishing (plating etc) is completed in house, including his damascus forging. He does occasionally have unfinished heads in stock you can order, but generally everything is milled to order.

Indeed, Kari has his own CNC machines and equipment to forge Damascus. I’ve been in his workshop, it’s amazing the capabilities he has because his main business is an engineering company.

I've enjoyed playing my carbon Sensor with oil can finish, but courses around here are often applying chemical fertilizers to the greens , so for those times I wanted a stainless version of the same putter. Kari offered me the options of Marine Satin or Gunmetal . Now that I have the putter I like the Marina Satin finish; it's on the dressy side of media bead blast finishes and looks sharp.

What are the specifications of your incoming putter ?

Somehow it's a similar story. I'm getting a St. St. version of my CS L-blade flange (Bullseye inspired). Main difference will be the shaft as now I'll try a Stability shaft. The CS putter is gunmetal, very low maintenance, looks good and it works great so I expect the new putter to work even better.

It looks like the site is down right now. All Instagram pages and Facebook work, though, if you are in need of a fix. ?
