First Eagle!!!!!

Got my first one about 3 months ago. Decent drive just off the fairway. Had a downhill shot to the green, but there were trees and water between me and it. Thanks to the elevated position in the fairway I knew I could get the 5 iron over the trees and water from just at 200 yards out. Knew I stuck it well but couldn’t see it land. I get to the green and it’s a tap in eagle. Was playing by myself which kind of sucked

Feels like something you don't forget, though if it becomes commonplace, I suppose it's possible. I still remember my first one, maybe in part because I was playing golf with the missus, and she was puzzled at why I was so excited about it (she thought I'd made a birdie, lol).

Had my first one last year, and it honestly felt like I'd never get one, which is odd as a mid-single digit handicap. I have friends that shoot regularly in the 90s with 5 or 6 eagles and I'm in the 70s consistently with none. Was really confounding for awhile.

Congrats!! I am jealous, I still have yet to make an actual eagle putt. I have lucked out and holed out a few times, but still want to have that feeling of making an eagle putt.

My wife had her first at #8 at Sun Country Golf Club in Washington 2 weeks ago. She hit driver off the tee. Then a 4 hybrid from 110 , she's new to golf, over the water in front of the green, one hopped onto the green and rolled right into the hole. I thought she'd just won the Masters!! It was great watching her enjoy the moment.
