i think we will see him in a year with a full sleeve tattoo and hanging with AK in Vegas. You heard it here first folks. LOL

Ha!

Interesting.

Didnt AK have an insurance policy for 20MM for injury?

Wonder if TW does and for how much.

I would be very surprised if he did not. i didn't even consider that until just now. Tigers done, cut the check. haha.

I don't get how he can pound balls on the range for an hour and a half, but not be be physically ready to play a round of golf

I don't think Tiger is mentally there and I think he like the time off. He enjoys being with his kids and relaxing.

As for the senior tour. He will probably play all the men's majors, senior major, and some select Champions/PGA Tour events

There is no doubt tiger has the talent to own the Senior Tour when he qualifies but I dont see him having the hunger. I think many people underrate how important having clearly defined goals is to success. Tiger grew up with a goal of being the goat, which meant beating Jacks records. I doubt tiger would have worked so hard and been so driven if it werent for Jack setting the bar so high. Its much easier to chase down a known record than set one. Thats why I think Jacks most remarkable trait was to stay so driven for so long even after he was the goat. Tiger looks like he has already lost his hunger and has given up on getting to 18 majors, and who could blame him. What possible motivation would there be for him on the Seniors tour?

That's an amazing video, I watched it twice all the way through. For the people saying TW is finished -- how can you watch that video and make that claim? TW is bombing it, hitting low and high shots, draws and fades. If he's not in tour shape yet then I can't tell. After another month or two he will ever 100%.

No pressure putts involved in that clinic

You're prediction, from that video, is that by August, he'll be 100% and playing on Tour, correct?

I don't think we see him until Augusta next year at the absolute earliest.

I don't think he ever plays anything close to a full season again.

I could see him playing his foundation tournament this winter. But earlier than that, I doubt it. For certain, by him not playing the Memorial, he's not playing the US Open.

I saw an interview with Steve Stricker a few weeks back and he was asked if he heard from Tiger at all. He said he texts with him a little bit, but when asked when he thought Tiger would play again, Steve said that he wouldnt be surprised if Tiger sat out all year. I wouldnt be shocked to see Tiger as a vice captain on the Presidents Cup team this fall.

Along with the injury problems, gotta also remember Tiger is a single father to a pair of adolescent kids, getting to that age where they are active all the time. Perhaps he's devoting more time to being a dad as well.

Agree. I think he would have very little passion to compete against old guys. His passion is to be the worlds best, no compete against guys who wouldn't define him as the worlds best when he were to beat them.

Spinal fusions take a while to recover from. He's most likely taking a year off.

I had one in 1998, it took a year before I was back to full fitness. I was at scratch before going up to 4 handicap pre operation. By 2000 I was back to scratch so it is possible to fully recover however needless to say I never swung at Tiger speeds but I did not lose any distance.

I am a little worried re the swing in the video. His reverse C has totally gone and flexibility looks dramatically limited.

Good luck Tiger, golf needs you.
