And, in retrospect, really dumb to leave the tour. He’d be the most popular golfer out there had he stayed, now nobody sees him unless it’s a major. 
 

Plus he’d be making a lot more money in endorsements so he’s probably not even going to be ahead of the game vs if he stayed.

See. For me it’s long legged spiders. I like the short jumping ones. I hate long legs of any kind.  Ants ?  🐜 eh.  I’ll leave them be until they mess with me. Then I’ll kill all of them.  Kind of an understanding we have.  Same with wasps.  Once you tell them you’ll kill all their kind  that lives. They back off.  🤣. Bryson just has to talk to the ants. They’ll see reason.

bryson has learned to speak less. Which I guess is change in a way. But I doubt he’s changed much in his own head.  He’s just learning  to guard against the public.  Play the part. And not make as many waves with his enthusiasm for his ideas. A lesson tiger also had to learn.  Words are ammo to be shot back at your head. 

No, you're right.   "Narcissist" is way over-used and it may not apply in a strict sense. (Though IMHO, he ticks a lot of the boxes).  To me, and this is purely personal opinion, he just seems like an arrogant, conceited blowhard.  It's just the impression I get when I see him being interviewed.  Again, I may be totally wrong.   I can see that he's making an effort to change (maturing?) but he hasn't won me over yet.  As it's been said, many great golfers were not warm and fuzzy guys.  It's a selfish sport.

Ya I usually give spiders a pass since they eat the other bugs. Wife freak out so I try to capture them and put them outside. Or I just lie and say I killed it 🤣
