pretty underwhelming release of shoes unless there's more to come. a new colorway of LCV (max orange), new color way of zoom 90 (Max orange), and new colorway of air gimme (max orange)... in addition to the aforementioned FI flex.

I tried them on today. They are comfy and look nice but they are not waterproof like the FI Impact 2. Too bad because I was going to buy them.

They make specific batches to Nike's specs. There has even been a difference in the 'normal' spike vs the 'Nike' spike in the way they grip.

No chance at getting the original color.

I can think of a number of reasons that someone would be so enraged by the idea of other people wanting the same color replacement spikes their shoes originally came with. None of them are legitimate and they're all embarrassing.

Oh it very definitely hasn't harshed any mellow here, it's actually quite comedic that some people are that picky about something that generally is hidden under a shoe that walks in grass, sand, mud etc. and no one pays any sort of attention to.

 

Don't get me wrong, if I were Champ or Soft Spikes, I'd probably go to production with these and double the price of colored spikes vs normal grey/black ones for the gullible person willing to buy them.

I ordered the Fi Bermuda's this week (delivered today but I haven't been home yet). But man, I REALLY like the look of those White FI Flex that dropped, and they've even got them in wides. Unless the Fi bermuda's fit like a glove i'm probably sending them back and grabbing the Flex's.

 

Bermudas were way too narrow. They are going back tomorrow. Might just ride out my tw 14s and wait for the flexes to hit clearance sometime in the future.
