I have not seen anything in the works of a more dress style shoe other than the TW 17 without the scrap, which will look more traditional.

I may be wrong but I believe Nike still owned Cole-Haan and the Claytons were Cole-Haan uppers.

I think its safe to say nike has found its niche in the golf footwear world. I'd be surprised if they released another shoe similar to the Claytons

I've noticed, not sure if that's by design by Nike or not. I bought a pair of LCV's because I initially liked them better but now I think I like the LC2 better so I don't know what to do haha.

I wanted to share my 2 cents on my experiences with the AM 90's.

 

My first pair was the white inferred, bought them when they came out last year. I wasn't a huge fan when I first saw them, after wearing them in during the first 2 weeks I don't think I wore another shoe the rest of the summer. I typically play in a warm dessert climate, lots of wind and dust. I think the shoes held up really well, I gave them a quick 2 coats of scotch guard and clean them when needed. You can see the picture with how well they have held up, all things considered, I'm happy with how they look after how much use they got last summer and early fall.

 

I bought the black pair looking for a winter version, something that would hold up better with dirt. I have been wearing these all winter, walking and riding. They have been through standing water, rain storms, mud puddles literally everything. They never once felt uncomfortable and my foot has never gotten wet. In fact I had to change out of my Puma ignites this past weekend for my second round of 18 in fear of getting blisters. After going back to the AM 90's in the afternoon, no more foot issues! Look brand new still! I liked them so much I ended up ordering another pair for my trip to Bandon Dunes in 2 weeks.

 

I know lots of people have commented on how they hold up with dirt and rain, so I thought I would share my experiences.

Nice! Those infrareds don't look bad at all. I'm saving mine because it's been muddy and raining lately in LA, but that's really good to know.

 

The AM90s lowkey became my favorite golf shoe, beating out my Tour 360 boosts, LCV, LC4, Chukkas, and Flyknit Elites. They're just the perfect combo of comfort and stability for me. I'll probably pick up one more pair in one of the new colorways coming out soon.

No love for the Prestos in this thread? Hands down one of my favorite sportswear shoes. Pretty big fan of almost all the Flyknit stuff, and I love my KD9s for hooping.

I didn't pay attention to them last year. Saw on twitter where Nike said there were no plans for iD golf shoes in the future.

3/1 seems to be a pretty big release. I'm not sure of any details but I'm holding off on any purchases till I see what comes out.

IMO, you're right. It's the one thing they don't have in their lineup. They should offer something for the traditionalist or old man golfers that don't like the athletic look.

Totally agree. Thats what I think made the Claytons so great, as a 28 year old I LOVE the modern twist on a traditional shoe.

I also think they will release, but I dont think it will be a high heel'ed sole like the usual roshe we're used to.

I don't think we'll ever see Roshe golf shoes but I have been wrong many times before. And if we do see them I don't see anyway they would be included in a 2017 line up.

 

Let me clarify that by we'll see I am talking about a full production run and not samples that leak out or people have to wear test.
