What are some classic bags for Hickory play?

Planning to get my Hickory set in the next 6 months. What are some good looking bags to compliment them?

Ordered a "classic" bag from China through Ali-express, $99 a few months ago, now 130, nice single strap and a stand bag to boot. Try them, seems to be well made.

This is one of the more reasonably priced hickory era bags you'll find. Wish I'd known about it before I ordered mine, which I picked up here, actually:

Also watch out for Mullholland Golf bags (nice used ones on eBay from time-to-time), and Eliott Golf Bags are another good option.

I've been carrying the Belding vintage bag for the past few years and love it. The price that Holden liked too is really good, they use to list for $300.

If I am not mistaken those Eliott bags are handmade in Charleston SC down the road from me and the home of our own OSR on here. A friend of mine has one of those expensive but quality hand made bags

I play hickory with an ancient canvas and leather carry bag from the 1930's. Reverse snobbery, the more beat bag up the better.

Just ordered one of the Ashworth bags - they look pretty classy! Wouldn't be surprised if Belding made it for Ashworth ... and at £75 inc delivery to UK that is a no brainer for a waxed canvas bag with leather accents.

 

The review on the listing says the bag is a bit short, but it looks ok in this pic from the Ashworth website (back view of Justin Rose?), assuming it is the same bag of course :)

 

 

 

 

 

I like the look of that Tourbon one as well - only reservation is what it would be like to carry, as the design suggests your hip is going to rest against the pockets whichever side you carry it

Well ... the seller of the Ashworth bag is telling me that the bag height is 30.5" ... pretty short for carrying a set of mens clubs LOL.

Update: bag arrived ... and all I can say is WOW !!! This is a really great bag ... and plenty high enough (it's 34" tall, not 30.5" ... seller must have an odd tape measure :) ).

 

There are 3 left .. @$54 this is an absolute steal ... honestly you'd be thrilled if you'd spent $300 ... don't hesitate if you are in the market for a hickory bag !

Wouldnt call this a Classic bag but it is great for hickory, It is a Sunday carry bag from Sun Mountain, Has all the nice little slots for water bottle, tees etc and it is a stand bag,
