Tyson Lamb Putters & Crafts

Recommended Posts

This was my last attempt and I was cart sniped. Done trying.

do you have an account already in the system? best way is to already have an account so when you check out, you just sign in and checkout. No typing in addresses and all that nonsense. Also, at the time the site opens you have to re-enter the URL and not keep spamming refresh button

Idk about all that man. I was browsing Instagram and saw the release date/time (about two minutes before release). Went over to LambCrafted and just hit refresh till they showed up. Checked out via PayPal right away and sealed the deal. It’s not an art you just have to be one of the first people there and not be indecisive. If you want Copper then put it in your bag and get yoself to checkout as soon as you can!

I hit f5 till it went live. Cart, PayPal, done.

I was on a family outing so i missed out. I would have loved to be in the drawing, but I really just want the bronze and copper pop tops. Tana Lamb said there would be more after the drawing so I hope I can get my hands on those. I paint filled my steel pop top. I love the look of the copper. I wanted to get 1 for each guy in my foursome, but the 1 per person limits me. oh well.

i hope one of you guys is able to win that putter!

GOOD LUCK!

Absolute quickest way is to pay on your iPhone via apple pay.

I grabbed a copper and was done in 20 seconds with the face verification.

Actually what longball described is very much possible and accurate because I had the exact same thing happen. I refreshed until they showed up, quickly added one to the cart, and proceeded to payment. Despite choosing PayPal, it still asked for a billing address which I found odd since that shouldn't be required when using PayPal (perhaps it wasn't required). Because my billing is different than my shipping, I took the handful of seconds to change that address and then proceed to PayPal. I'd say no more than 30 seconds invested in connecting and confirming PP, back to the cart....item gone and now showing as sold out.

I'm sorry but I don't believe the question should be "how quickly were you able to make your pick and get your payment info set?" I think it needs to be "if this problem (cart sniping) was identified back in the very first couple of releases they did, why hasn't it been resolved yet?" Is it something that they're even looking to resolve at this point? Last I heard, they implemented some additional software that was supposed to stop it, but it proved to be non-effective.....I haven't heard anything else on the topic since. As others have pointed out earlier in the thread, go buy tickets on Ticketmaster, StubHub, etc.....once you have what you want in the cart, you have a set amount of time to get checked out or you lose what's in the cart. This is how a well designed transactional website that is specifically configured for limited-quantity goods works.

Oh well, I only decided to give it a shot this time because the entry into the drawing was too good to pass up. Learned my lesson and will avoid moving forward.

Just a couple things here. First one being, when you are paying with Paypal, it doesnt matter what it says your billing address is on the Lamb site so that certainly costed you some time. Secondlly, they never implemented a cart hold time. They said they were looking into it and would consider but never moved forward with it. Im very on the fence if I want cart protection or not. Think the way it is set up now is fair. Just need to be absolutely flawless in execution and not make a single mistake

That drawing was genius on their part. Charging almost double for a marker for a 2-in-300 chance at a putter. Not being judgmental -- of course I tried to get in and got cart sniped -- but I was satisfied when they put the tops back up after the drawing and I got a brass and copper for regular price.

It was genius! Raffling off 3 putters no one bought at the original event and profit about $20,000!!

They made $4500 additional. Those putters were also only available at the event. Had those 3 been posted on the website, all 3 would have sold

$55 is the normal price for markers and the raffle ones sold for $100. The $45 price difference on the 300 markers equals $13,500. Add in the profit margin at the $55 price and that number goes even higher.

I am not "hating the player" but pointing out doing it this way increased their profits. Good for them.

It was saying so let us not get oversensitive.

People are factoring the putters were probably going for 2500 +

So good profit for them but 100 dollar gamble on a 2500 + putter? Hell that is a steal

55x300 + 3x3000 is 25500. only 4500 less than the 30k from the $100 pop tops. you’re not factoring in the sale value of the putters.
