With parents like hers and a coach like DL it was always going to result in a circling of the toilet bowl. Possessed of some undeniable sporting talent and a really likable personality she's been drowned by over bearing parents and a coach who has ruined more players than Vegas.

Michelle will be 27 yrs old in one month......there's just no way she can find her 14 yr old's swing again. And BJ on the bag probably will not help her game or attitude.

 

She doesn't need to find her 14 year old swing. She's incapable of making cuts at this point. Each week ~70 players make the cut. Pick one and emulate it. It doesn't have to be picture perfect.

 

At this point she's hitting 52% of the fairways, and 61% of the greens. Heck, I average 70% of the fairways, and 66% of the greens. She can have my swing, and it would be an improvement.

On the flip side how much time does she really invest in that? She would probably just be best off shedding Leadbetter and the parents. I do not see either happening but imo it would be best for her game.

None of us really know the situation however. She may enjoy having the parents around all of the time and still need the DL voice of reason. It has to be frustrating and rewarding at the same time to not get the results but still get paid by Nike and other endorsers.

It's not just the long game she has to work on but putting. When both aren't working, she's got no chance to compete competitively.

When did she go back to the table top garbage. They said on TV that she believed all the best putters were short and that's why she goes with that junk. Does she watch the men's game, some decent putters have been at least as tall as her.

When MW was younger, maybe 20 or so, she should have firmly told her Parents

that she needed to take her on path with her golf, and to be supportive in

a nice family manner. Now i'm afraid it's too late. I can't beleive it when

Parents raise their children to suppot them, kinda backwards to me.
