You are 100% right...twistface 2.0 and the paint reduces its visual effect on set up...plus in my testing SIM head is lower spin (typically) which may explain the difference with that shaft to work so well for your swing.

How and where do you insert the hotmelt? I don’t like the sound of mine and would love to try and dampen it a little.

I came to this club after years with the Adams 9064LS in the bag just because I wanted something shiny and new. I had moderate success with it but it never felt totally right, though I did keep it in for a few seasons. I'm happily playing a TS3 now.

You can take the black "stopper" screw out that holds that adjustable sole plate silver weight in place.  That exposes a nice "hole" to add the HM nozzle into.  2.5 gram added and spread on the crown to dampen sound (maybe kill spin a touch).  Sounds perfect.  Perfect D4 at 44.5"  Hope this helps.

Thanks! So, does the hotmelt stick to the inside of the crown? I’m afraid it might rattle around inside...

only 2.5 grams here so absolutely no rattle and perfect acoustics (its HIT 2.0 LOL)...almost spread it out like mayo on a piece of bread. Maybe if you needed a lot more like 10grams it would probably be better on the inside of the sole etc...
