Thoughts on Aeroburner a year later?

Mine's on the way and I'm excited to have gotten a bargain, yet I'd love to hear your opinions on the performance and overall playability of the club!

 

I am aware the shaft is a bit longer stock, but how do you feel that plays into your groove? I ordered the 9.5^ stiff. I'm not going to be custom fitted so it'd be nice to hear some honest opinions.

It is still a great driver- Currently playing a 9.5 TP with the GD Tour AD BB-7 and it has proven, for me, to be longer than my TM M2

I like mine, but the stock shaft is super light aside from long. I have a higher swing speed than "average" but I'm not at 130 like some claim. If I remember it's a 50 shaft and I needed something more like 65. Once I had it swapped out I really liked it.

Still playing mine and I love it! Hit high bombs with it almost every time. I like this driver so much I got the fairway wood, which is also amazing!

Still got my 9.5 in the bag, stock stiff shaft.

No plans to change it.

I love the 3 wood. The driver only lasted 3 rounds for me though.

IMO great no frills distance drivers and fairway woods. My only complaint is I have had two different Tp fairway woods and the face angle was nicely open at address on my first one and when that became damaged TM replaced it with another Tp and the face angle was a little shut at address. Ive since got a "yardbirds" tour issue 3 wood and it is a real beast.

I will be sure to update this thread when it comes in and I hit the range.

 

I may opt for a heavier shaft if it does prove to be too light for my swing, any suggestions on an affordable shaft that fits the head well would be appreciated as well. Always looking for other options!

I picked a TP Aeroburner with the stiff White Tie 60 shaft a few weeks ago. I have been bombing it. Forgiveness isn't as good as my G30 but it's much longer. I really like the shaft and may try one in my G30 later.

 

I didn't get a chance to hit it before my first round with it so was a little nervous on the first tee. Hit it straight down the middle longer than my normal drives on that hole. I've since played 5 times and a few range sessions with it and really liking it.

Here are my thoughts, not deep but mine. It spins more than my D3 . It carries better than the D3 but too inconsistent with it. Shorten the shaft and getting better results. Not sure if I'll keep it. By the way cut the shaft down to 44.5 . The D3 is at 44.25.

The AB TP Driver & Fairways are still fantastic club heads.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with them.
