Is the 4-6 week shipping notice from the time of one's order, or from the day they posted it?

 

So will everybody's stuff get shipped out Beginning-Middle of February? or if I purchase it in 2 weeks, will it ship out Early March?

 

Also, how much do the special release head covers retail for? Already have some of the new Hula ones on eBay in the $150 price range.

 

I got my shipped notice yesterday and placed my order on 1/3 as soon as they were available online. So exactly one week for me. But I imagine that can vary based on stock levels at the time you order as well as volume of orders already in line.

to everyone complaining about sold out in 3 hours.....that's a long time. normally the headcovers and other good items are sold out in MINUTES and not hours. As most have posted, the Hawaii Open cover this year is mmmmm.ok...thus the hours to sell out. I would say that most releases are sold out in mins. of getting the email.

Yeah i get they sell out quick, but i can't even get a chance to try in the first minutes because of the timezone. If it was an email forewarning a certain time they will be released in the next 24hrs that's totally fine, cause you set an alarm and prepare. Being an email that can turn up at no set time with instant action required makes it a bit tough.

The instant ebay ads rub it in a bit more too

 

well on monday, Scotty did post a preview of the covers via twitter. so that is a clue that the release is short.

 

so im going to screw some people here....but the releases are 99.9% of the time on TUESDAYS and usually between 11a-2p EST, the week of the event. (to to the headcover archive on scotty, look at the dates, usually always Tuesdays)

 

I will tell you, if you are not in front of a computer, hawking your email/twitter during that time, you will NOT get most of the releases. Plain and simple. There is such a market for people to buy and then dump on ebay, that the demand far out ways supply. I have been sitting on their site, hitting the refresh button for HOURS before, to ensure that i get the item. Have your CC ready, and just because the item is in your basket, DOES NOT mean its yours. Until you fully check out and pay, the item can be grabbed by others.

 

its a game, play it, be happy that you truely want to collect the covers, you have somewhat of a chance.

I placed my order on Monday the 9th afternoon and got shipment notification yesterday.

Got my kit today. Everything is nice though not real sold on the bag. Maybe going to see what I can trade it for or sell for. Though not real sure how much you can get from it, at a certain point just makes sense to not buy a bag for $65-$70 and just buy the whole kit.
