Still doesn't confirm this includes the Miura Giken line in Japan which I believe he would want to retain control over.

 

However, it does confirms one of the posters claim Nicklaus would be involved now.

As much as I appreciate Miura irons, I'm really glad I'm not the target market for them with this news being an Islanders fan. I'd have to boycott the company on this alone lol.

Pretty eye opening that Muira is so impressed with their new high technology line of irons the Genisys, they forgot to put their name on the iron. Looking at them it is understandable why they didn't. FUgly comes to mind. Hopefully Jack doesn't have to much personal capital involved...doesn't have the greatest business record. (1985 and a reorg in 2000)

new owner is the business partner with Jack Nicklaus. Maybe why hes involved Jack plays Miuras.

Love Miura irons but McGarity must of had a different high-school job than me if he only had to " save for months" to buy a set. Maybe he interned at Goldman Sachs as a high-school senior.

 

The people I know who play Miura do so because they are the best feeling forged irons out there no matter what the blow hard godaddy guy says. Purists play them because they aren't mass marketed with the tungsten toe, power slot elastomer undercut cavity boomerang cup face.

 

And hey, if I need a little extra distance I simply swing easy with one extra club and button one with a little butter cut......no better feeling in the world. Period.
