Miura from a production standpoint will remain the same.

 

The company that bought the rights to Miura purchased the "brand" and everything else to do with it. Probably just going to streamline the product lines from Japan and North American into one. I cant imagine with the great products they have produced over the last few years that any company would want to mess with that.

 

True spec although new is making some big waves in the industry, especially considering they bought club conex last year.

- Production to be moved to Dongguan with immediate effect.

 

- Name to be changed to "Chiura".

 

- Only the finest Chinese steel to be used.

- Clubs to be avaliable from all reputable Ebay retailers with 87% feedback score or above.

Can't help but be skeptical. We'll see what the conex/true spec mishmash can do. Endo is apparently hurting and Ben Hogan is basically done, now the miura family has sold after doing this since '57. Simply call it the PXG effect.

 

Adams sold years ago, sad when higher quality companies can't make it. Add them to the list.

Agree....this isn't as big as it looks. There are too many people involved that know Katsuhiro Miura is what makes the Miura brand so legendary. This isn't Macgregor going to GolfSmith.

There is a new Strategic INVESTOR group that is taking a stake in the company. Exciting times are ahead for Miura. Wait for the official press release from Miura.

P.S. Purest golf experience I've ever had was with Miura irons at Bandon Dunes on a buddies trip.
