- Production to be moved to Dongguan with immediate effect.

 

- Name to be changed to "Chiura".

 

- Only the finest Chinese steel to be used.

 

- 7 new models of iron available that will in no way look like other OEM irons already on the market.

 

- Clubs to be avaliable from all reputable Ebay retailers with 87% feedback score or above.

Ugh, I don't like it. Usually not a good thing when a family owned business sells out and immediately the new owner says "we are expanding like crazy." Especially when the entire brand is built on quality and exclusivity.

This is a very common tale. Having lived through this three times now, I can tell you how this will most likely end. I suspect owners wanted to get out due to age and offspring not wanting to maintain the business; this was the option that paid them off quickly. The ability for Mirua to move forward will hinge on whether or not True Spec has any experience in actual design and production. If this is investment bankers/private equity lead group than in all likelihood Mirua will not survive.

Charge more than PXG....that could fuel a neat price war, where the higher the price, the more they sell....as opposed to dropping price.

I agree, as far as US offerings the last real one will be the beautiful CB57s. Clearly not a design for a broad segment of the market, hence that's why it is a great product. Better load up now.
