Not doing the purchase with them on-line at least for the KK.

Selecting the KK TiNI 60 from the many drop-down shaft options on-line gives an upcharge of $US 270 which is nearly $US 200 more than the ballpark what I understand retailers are typically charging going direct to Ping for the build with upcharge shaft.

The Tour 65 seems typical on the site at +$35 and the Aldilla X-Torsion typical at +$75.

When I go to that site it says $75 for the 60g TiNi, the 70g says $250

So I hit the Kage today. The guy at the store got confused and gave me the copper colored shaft instead of the one with copper in it. I wasn't smart enough to realize I was hitting the Alta instead of the Aldila.

Here's my numbers. The one labeled Aldila is really the Alta. Based on this info, anyone have some insight on what I could expect with Aldila? Sooooooo mad I didn't hit that

Ignore shots that are not the average. There's no way to tell which shots were selected for the average as I was rotating thru clubs very frequently

Not sure which head you were using but as a fitter it appears to me that you could use a higher head setting on most of the shafts (I look for 12 -14 degree launch angle) Don't know what you're swing speed is (guessing around 100 mph based on ball speed). You're descent angle is also a little low in the upper 20's, I'm guessing your typical ball flight is on the low side. (I try for a descent angle in the mid 30's). Based on my demos of the X Torsion shaft and the Alta CB shaft I seen better numbers with the Alta CB. Hope this helps!

Thanks for chiming in! Yes, my swing speed is a bit over 100. From memory on my last outdoor session with the Ping + Trackman, I think I was averaging just under 105, like 103-104.

The head was the 10 deg SFT

Yes, I hit my driver a bit too low. It's something I work on with the local pro, but clearly haven't figured out yet.

It felt like the Kage was the most accurate, would that make sense at all?

Hard for me to tell accuracy looking at the numbers. The Kuro Kage shaft is a low launch shaft and I doubt that will help you achieve a higher ball flight. The X Torsion shaft would be a higher launch shaft but not as high as the Alta CB.
