Ps I have nothing against pxg people if I had the income or gambling problem I'd buy them.

On a side note, Lavar Ball is in the process of losing $10s of millions for his son/s...

 

You don't traditionally see high profile guys slide in the NBA draft like we do in the NFL. You just don't see the Aaron Rodgers or Rueben Foster draft slides in the NBA. We very well may see something like that happen with Ball this year.

I still think he'll go #2. The team that drafts him will probably have to deal with his dad at some point, so I think Fultz has that advantage. Ball will probably get involved in contracts and other "business" ideas the team would have to deal with. But that's relatively minor stuff. Teams won't have an issue telling the guy to get lost even if Lonzo is an all star. If he ends up Lebron good they'll put up with anything. So there's not a ton of risk

 

I think it's going to effect Lonzo more on the court and in the locker room. Guys will come after him hard and trash talk him hard. It's well known that guys "take games off" during the regular season. No one Is going to take games off against Lonzo when his dad goes on Twitter and says he's the best PG in the league. What do you think steph curry is going to do to this guy after Lavar said Lonzo was better.

I would trade out of two in a second. I personally think the guy is overrated, and the attention he is getting is not going to help him. If a team thinks they can deal with that properly, than draft him but I agree with you that the locker room could be an issue. I just don't get it with this kid, he was essentially non-existent in the Kentucky game and looked lazy. He had one good game against a ranked opponent all year and it was against Arizona in January.

I know where you're coming from, i'd certainly entertain it too. If there was an option to add a guy and trade down to a still respectable position. (let's say Brooklyn got the #2, and Minnesota offered Kris Dunn and Zach Lavine plus their #10 or whatever they end up with, than the Nets could get 3 young players instead of 1, and they don't have a lot of draft picks in the next few years.....)

During the Championship game the rest of the family was by the mother's bed side including the father. Apparently this was the first game Alonzo played without family in attendance......I dont know this for fact but they talked about it on Skip and Shannon's show.
