Serious question - what would it take for LeBron to be considered the best ever? There is nothing left for him to do as long as GSW continue their dominance.

 

The only thing he can do is stay and do his best and hope history will think of him better than what his final records shown. He wrote it in his SI letter of going home.

LeBron has no chance to win one now. He coasts on defense a lot during regular season because he plays so many minutes and has so many miles on him

When it comes to a combination of physical ability and basketball iq, LeBron is the most gifted player I have ever seen play. With that being said, the only reason he's not atop my list of greatest players is because he makes all his teammates worse. LeBron personally can do more amazing things on the court than anyone ever, but that doesn't always translate to giving his team the best chance to play at their highest level. The saying, more than the sum of their parts has never described a team LeBron plays on.

 

Ironically, TD I feel was amazing at raising the level of all his teammates.
