-Current USGA handicap: 6.3

-What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): Taylor Made X-300 FCI (believe it or not - returned to them when my Cobra MB's stopped being the answer - because it's always the arrow - never the Indian!). Dynamic Gold S300.

-Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when?: No.

-State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf:

First and foremost, I am a long-time Taylor Made player. I have owned every set of forged between the X-300 FCI and the RAC then picked up again with the latest set of Tour Preferred MB's. I have owned every Taylor Made driver since the Pittsburgh Persimmon through the bubble shaft to the M2. I've always been a bit of a renaissance golfer - believing that off-the-shelf works for pretty much 95% of us. I am a blades aficionado (with over 20 sets of blades in my basement) and love the look of the new Taylor Made prototypes appearing on Tour. Would love the opportunity to put my theories to the test and see if the fitting staff at the Kingdom can significantly improve my game. Additionally, I have a journalism degree from Northwestern and would love to put my old skills back to the test.

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific)- Srixon Z765/ Dynamic Gold 120 X100 Tour Issue
  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? Yes, I was fit at Club Champion in Plano Texas. The fitting took place in March 2017.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf. I am a big fan of TaylorMade and have historically used the brands irons and woods. I currently have an M2 driver and 3 wood. In the past I played RP TP 9 irons for several years. Also, this sounds like an awesome experience I would love to be a part of!

  • Current USGA handicap: I do not have an official handicap, but would estimate it be between 10 and 15. Most scores on 6500 yard courses are low 80s. Have broken 80 a couple of times. I almost exclusively walk all rounds and hold to the classic traditions of this game very closely.

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): I have been playing a minimalist set of 8 clubs for about 3 years and really enjoying the shotmaking. I strive for 20-25 yard gaps between clubs. I carry a Vokey sm6 56 dg s200 (100 yards and in); a Vokey sm4 48 dg s200 (125 yards); Titleist cb 714 8 iron dg s300 (150 yards); Titleist cb 714 6 iron dg s300 (175 yards); and a Titleist tmb 4 iron dg s300 (200 yards). These irons are within 1 degree of standard lofts and are bent 1 degree flat. (I'm 5'7"). All are standard length except the 4 iron is 1/4 inch long to bring the swingweight up slightly
  • I also play a 5 wood (225 yards) and Driver (250+ hopefully). My Driver is a Titleist 915 D2, 9.5 loft and set at b1. Diamana D 70 shaft at standard length. The five wood is a rotating cast of characters with nothing currently sticking. This has been my most frustrating club to select.

  • Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? I was not fit for these irons. I have always enjoyed the traditional looks of Titleist clubs and gravitate toward them. But I am always open to other manufacturers. Prior to my current driver, I played Taylormade and Adams woods for years.
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: This seems like a great opportunity to have my clubs put to the test. I am an equipment junkie and have largely chosen clubs and dialed them in by self-teaching and experimenting within my preferences. I would love to see what kind of results I could get through a top-notch equipment fitting.

I enjoy the golfwrx forums and would love to have the opportunity to contribute to them in this capacity. My contributions would be helpful to more traditional golfers who enjoy classic tastes and the simple pleasures of the game.

Current USGA handicap: 5

Current irons: Callaway Epic w/ Project X LZ 95 5.5

Was not fit for current irons

Would love to attend this experience. Have not had a fitting. Have just arrived at my current set makeup through years of playing different equipment, reading equipment reviews and trial and error. Have played Taylormade equipment through the years and currently alternate between a 2017 M1 460 driver and a 2016 M2 driver. Currently use a Taylormade Chaska TP mallet putter and TP5 ball.

Current handicap: 11.1

I use Taylormade TP MB Irons P-5 Iron with KBS Tour shafts, a TaylorMade TP CB 4 Iron, and a TaylorMade UDI 2 Iron (Nippon Shaft) Edit: I hit M2 3 and 5 woods as well, with Project X stiff shafts. The 3 wood is my driver replacement, as I have not yet been able to find one that I feel comfortable with. (I have an M2 head in my bag with no shaft currently, as I was not able to dial it in with what I had)

I was fit at Chris Cote's golf shop in Portland, CT

I have been gaming TaylorMade clubs for years now, and would love an opportunity to see how the great clubs I play are made. Also the opportunity to hit new, improved irons side by side with the ones I'm most comfortable with would be extremely interesting. Having never been to a full service center like The Kingdom, I imagine it to be a sort of Utopian experience for any golfer/tinkerer of the game.

Social media and writing updates wouldn't be an issue as I use twitter, instagram, and facebook regularly.

Current Irons and shafts: Ben Hogan Edge CFT irons with Apex Edge Steel shafts by Royal Precision

Was I fit for the irons?: No. I've never been fit for irons.

Why I want to go?: I am a mechanical engineer and a golf tech junkie. I am equally interested in bio-swing dynamics and the methodical elimination of variation to improve golf scores. A chance to go to Carlsbad and discuss technology, design and materials would be my version of going to Disney World. Aside from that, my clubs are 13 years old and as a father of 4 kids under age 7, to get out of the house for a few days would be great!

My current hc is 1.6 and I would say I'm a good ball striker. Irons in the bag are titleist 714 cb 4-p with tour issue x100 +1/2. I was fit for these irons in the summer of 2015 by a titleist rep at a demo day. I would live the opportunity to be invited on this trip. As a collegiate golfer I am constantly looking to improve my game and I feel some newer tech in the irons would be a step in the right direction. I have always wanted the opportunity to be fitted in a tour like fashion and this would be an experience of a lifetime. In addition, I think the new lineup of forged Taylormade irons look amazing.

  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - I'm having my fist kid in early September, so if i'm given any opportunity to travel and play golf before i'm strapped down to diaper duty would be truly amazing. My true passion is golf, i'm constantly adjusting my clubs to find the perfect fit, weight, loft lie etc. If i could have a true professional fit me, where i didn't have to second guess their selections would be awesome. Lastly, i think TaylorMade has made huge strides with their irons in recent years, they not only look sleek and traditional but they have the technology to back it up.

I was fitted for these at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana 4 years ago

I play the M2 driver now and with my irons getting on in age i am looking for new prospects. Plus, I am a golf nut who would love the chance to see the facilities and the professionals at TM Golf. My club professional Brian Garrett is on TM staff and plays TM 770 irons.

3-5 Titleist 690 CB, 6-PW Titleist 690 MB, 52-56-60 Vokey SM6, Dynamic Gold S300 on all

Yes, 2002 McGetrick Golf School

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf

I would like to attend the TaylorMade Golf fitting for several reasons. The first is that it has been a long time since I have had a new set of irons. The last time I was fitting was just based on club head speed and a deflection board for lie angle. I feel that the I could be better fit for a set of iron. Most club fitters located close to where I live are not trained well enough to give the best possible fit. To get the best club fitting would be absolutely amazing. I have used forged irons for over 25 years and I would like a better feeling set. I never liked the feel of the Titleist irons compared to my prior set of Mizuno MP-14 irons. I use a TaylorMade SLDR driver and love it. I recommended TaylorMade irons to my brother who got a set of RSi TP. I have hit them and they are a marvelous set of clubs. My father has M2 irons and says they are his best irons ever. TaylorMade is one of the best if not the best club manufacturer in the world and it would be awesome to have a brand new set of TaylorMade forged irons.

  • What are your current irons and shafts (be specific) - MP-14 2-PW all with Brunswick Precision FCM 6.7
  • Were you fit for your current irons? - No, bought sight unseen off Ebay, and haven't modified them since
  • State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf - I've played golf for 6 years now, and was always of a mindset that for someone of my ability level, equipment rarely makes a difference - that today's equipment (more or less) is good enough and that all efforts and funds should go into playing and practicing. Perhaps an experience like this will open my eyes?

What are your current irons and shafts (be specific): TaylorMade M2 Tour 3-5i; TaylorMade PSi 6-PW all with KBS Tour X Shafts

Were you fit for your current irons? If so, where / when? Not fit for these, similar to previous specs when I was fit but that was many years ago and my game has changed drastically since then.

State why you'd want to attend this exclusive opportunity to be fit at TaylorMade Golf: I've been a fan of TaylorMade golf for as long as I can remember because I've always thought they made the best equipment with cutting edge technology. I did experience a few years of frustration with TM when I felt like they were releasing too many models too quickly - right after I bought a set. However, their M1/M2 line of woods won me back and the PSi irons have been the best irons I've ever had. I'd like to be refit by the best in the business so I can fill in some of the gaps in my irons - long irons need some tweaking since my 3/4/5 irons seem to have gaps that are too close together. I've been experimenting with combo sets for many years and would like to find a set of the same model that gives me the consistency that I'm looking for.

Carry a 5.1 hdcp

Currently playing Exotics ex1 with Nippon pro xs shafts

Was recently fitted by Titleist(did not purchase clubs) but am anxious to see how TM's process is different.

As an avid golfer with over 50 years of playing this great game, I have never played with an entire set of professionally fitted clubs. What golfer in their right mind would not jump at an opportunity like this. Fitted clubs would give me a good chance to shoot my age sooner rather than later. I have read great reviews about the playability(feel, added distance, aesthetics) of TM. It would be nice to live those reviews.

Based on index of 10.5, USGA handicap at my Oahu Country Club is 12 and trending down after recovery from knee replacement procedure a year ago.

Current irons are:

5-PW Miura Baby Blades (loft/lie):

5: 27, 60

6: 30, 60.5

7: 34, 61

8: 38, 61.5

9: 42, 62.0

PW: 47, 62.5

Miura Wedge

G 1957 Y Grind: 52, 63.5

SW 1957 K Grind: 56, 63.5

all with KBS Tour 90 shafts

standard grips: IOMIC

Fitting expertly done by Joey Tadeo at Aloha Golf Center, Honolulu in 2011

In aspiring to be the best I can be at golf, I don't ever want fit of golf set to be an excuse or issue. I played my best golf with the Miura set. Making a pure strike felt otherworldly and brought a smile and fist pump even if is did not always hit my target. I am now thinking that I should try a more modern technology with the traditional look at address I love, because I am older and don't have the swing speed as in prior years. An opportunity to have this experience at the Kingdom has always been an aspiration since kids of my peers who were junior golfers extraordinaire (some who became pros) have gone there for fittings and raved about it---we would talk about the process on end just because I had so many questions. If it's in the cards, having my aspiration become a reality would be a dream come true---even more so because my iron lies need to be on the flat side to fit me.
