Astros scare me, their bats are waking up. But I don't know if their bullpen is good enough.

 

If Rich Hill is solid for the Dodgers, I like them in six.

Dodgers. More complete team in my opinion... Although with Harvey’s effect on Houston the Astros will have a lot more to play for than just a title. Like my Sox after the Boston bombing. It will be exciting regardless of the outcome I know that much for sure

Actually, as lifelong Dodger fan, I always cheered against the Giants, even while very much appreciating how well they played the game, and wishing the Dodgers could learn to do some of those “little”things, (work a count, move a runner over, etc) that win games. This year, they have some guys that will do those things.

Kershaw dominated last night surrendering ZERO walks with 11 K's. Incredible and Keuchel wasn't bad either.. You just don't want to be facing the Dodgers pen when you are trailing right now. I expect Verlander to be really good tonight.

Roberts might have been a little “move” happy last night. Except the one maybe he should have made. 7th inning, one out, runner on 3rd with “swing and a miss” Jacque Peterson at the plate. That 3rd insurance run would have been big.

wow what a game! been a Yankee fan for a long time but living close to Houston. we would go to the games every summer as a kid. still go often (when the Yankees are in town). gotta pull for Houston of course. happy they're in it. We have their Double A team here in Corpus Christi and seen almost all of them come through the minor league system down here. they were great players then and just shows how great the minor league system works. Springer, Correa, Altuve, Bregman, Dallas, McCullers Jr. Overall great team.

After having seen him pitch so many years, I had a feeling it was over. His MO in the playoffs has always been to dominate except for the occasional homer when someone runs into his fastball. At 100 mph and 100F, it was bound to happen.

 

I guess in this case, what I should have realized is that the Astros bats in late innings do not at all replicate the Tigers bats in late innings :(

yeah i remember Pettite and Backe both picthed really well in the WS. Clemens got rocked early in Game 1 and was forced to leave because he injured his leg somehow.
