Best refinishing company

Hi. I want to send my baby dd201 to have a murderout look. I already know that i will have to send it to the U.S. because no one offer this servive in canada.

 

So im considering putter spa, bos golf and norcal putter. Putter spa is the most expensive, after norcal amd then bos.

 

Can anyone recommend one over the others? What was your experience? I really like my putter and it has great sentimental value.

I vouch for BOS golf. I have sent many putters to them, communication with Monica and Sherry are top notch. Never had any issues with them. Great customer service. Other you might want to check out is slightergolf.com they do refinishing also. Good luck and keep us posted.

I have first hand experience with Continental Golf and the Putter Spa. I've been impressed with their quality of finish, speedy turnaround times, and exceptional communication. If you are looking for a torched finish you can't go wrong with oneaugusta (A WRX member). He refinished a Scotty for me in a two tone torched finish and it is as good as anything I've seen.

 

I too am located in the Great White North. I wish there was something closer. On that note, I've noticed on the SGC Instagram page that refinished work is posted. May be worth a look.

 

Regardless of the path you choose I look forward to the finished pictures.

IMO BOS Golf does the best work. Avoid Norcal Putters. Had an absolutely terrible experience with them. No excuses for lack of communication and being dishonest w customers.

+1 for BOS. They refinished a Circa 62 and Mil-Spec for me this year and couldn't have been happier with the communication and turnaround. Both came back flawless.

My vote is for BOS, as well. They have more experience and are always very quick on the turnaround times. They used to do all of the dots in my TeI3 refinishes and still do the finishes anytime that someone requests a true Oil Can finish.

Great service and always reasonable pricing.

I have used Bos before in the past and they have always done a great job and they are the fastest. Norcal screwed one of mine up but in fairness did give me a full refund so the dude is ok in my book. Putterspa has done a Grey Ghost finish for me and he also did a great job. I have one of LaMont's putters in with The Golf Garage for a Gray PVD matte finish. It has been longer than I thought but I know he sends it out. If it comes back as awesome as I hope I have two more Mannkrafted sticks going his way.

I have used Putter Spa, can't say anything about the quality since I haven't received my putter back yet but looking at the pictures he provided me with it looks awesome. What I can say is that he is super fast, and excellent communication.

+1 for Putter Spa. J Rich is good with communication and quick turnaround. Had him fill in previous stamping on the back bumpers as well and it looks like the stamping was never there. Also had him put in a new shaft for me. Can't say enough good things.
