Streamsong dropped FL resident rate...

Attn FL residents...Streamsong appears to have dropped the summer FL resident rate. I emailed them and they confirmed it...bummer. $125 still isn't bad but I'm less apt to go as much as planned this summer. Hope they at least send out some special rates on occaision like they did toward the end of the year.

it's still 85 if you stay at the resort during summer time; that's still a heck of a deal tbh.

I live far enough away that I have to stay at the resort if I want to play more than one course... or even 1 course. So I like the $85. THANKS for informing us about this.

apparently too much so why not raise the rates? Too much Goomba last summer (oh yeah, that meant too much T!)

 

No reason to stay at the resort when you live less than 2 hrs away. Also don't see the need to spend over $100 for a room to save $40 on the greens fee...still expecting to see the FL resident deals come via email...

Bummer about the resident rate! I moved from FL to AZ last year but hung on to my old Florida license for Streamsong!

what up streamsong folks!

 

just got back from streamsong since the spring. Apparently there's this "no resident rate" rumor going on and the website doesn't promote it.

 

Well I didn't care because my home club is drenched! Booked a tee time for 2 on the website and it was locked in at 160 with a cart. Got there, they asked for florida ID and I gladly handed to them. The 8am tee time we had was 85 plus tax walking. Add another 35 for cart fee plus 50 for forecaddie per person. We skipped the cart and decided to walk with a walking caddie.

 

Replay rate was 55 walking or 75 with a cart. We did the replay as well but with a cart in the afternoon.

 

Walking wise, it's still very easy to walk if you get a tee time by 8am and is super recommended. And here's the kicker: starting last week they allowed YOUR OWN push cart! To my delight since I had 2 electric push cart in my car already! I was surprised the cart guy asked me if I wanted them to grab my electric push cart in the trunk. It all made sense now!

 

So for super super budget folks in the summer here are the price breakdown:

 

85+tax 1st round and bring your own push cart

55+ tax 2nd round and bring your own push cart

 

 

With a cart:

120 + tax 1st round with a cart + forecaddie fee(50)

75+ tax 2nd round with a cart + fore caddie fee(50)

 

with a walking caddie:

85+ tax plus 100 per bag 1st round

55+ tax plus 100 per bag 2nd round

 

You can mix and match which is what I'll do next week:

 

85 + tax with a push cart for the morning round

75+ tax with a cart plus 50 dollar forecaddie fee

 

I don't recommend walking in afternoon. I was pretty tired even riding a cart in the afternoon. The morning walk on red was a delight as always.

True - I've played the Black, Blue, & Red on 3 separate day trips since June and $85 each time.

About 3 weeks ago I did the same and had no problem using my own cart. I also drank about 10 bottles of water on the day too.

Just played the Blue on Sunday. Florida resident rate of 85 plus 15 for the push cart. Drove from Orlando and did not stay on property

took my electric cart out today at streamsong black. Conditions were superb considering they closed my home clubs in as many days due to the massive amount of rain fall as of late.

 

greens were rolling 10-11 and firm as ever. I had a couple drives around 290 cuz it rolled forever. I had 240 left on 18 and my tee box marker was 587. There was stupid amounts of roll today.

 

Get out there and take advantage of the resident rates!

I have played both. NOTHING compares to Bandon. It's just on a whole different level.

Bandon is just much much different with a lot of that coming from where it is located. Not sure I'll go back, not because of the courses but because of the beat down in getting there.

Well, played this morning. What a fun round. Really liked the course. Some of the holes were Bandon-like, others not, but on the whole a really cool round. Greens were fun. Only 1 hole felt out of place (#12 I think). Also, no gators at Bandon. Definitely want to play the other 2 courses now.

the back 9 at red is one of the best 9 i've ever played.

Loved #13. Reminded me of a hole #16 at Old MacDonald, green hidden behind a dune. Super linksy, loads of fun.
