I wish I can hit my driver 270 into the fairway all day long.

Mine is between 240-250 but seriously I’m a high handicapper and this club has been amazing. No worries at all with tight fairways whereas before I was just hoping to find my ball! Honestly not a taylormade fan normally but this club alone is making me wonder about the p790 set...

Had one with the stock hzrdus 6.5. Didn’t like it. Went a too high and was too light to be consistent.

 

Bought another with a Tensei white 100TX. It’s glorious. Brought the flight down and it’s way straighter. Can hit it 275 off the tee

Got my discontinued UDI a couple days ago and took it out last night to my local 9 holer. Played the first go round with my FG Tour V4 3I and the second go round with the UDI 2I and man this thing just goes.

It might end up being one of those, goes to far things, in regards to using it instead of a driver/3w off the tee. Really like the small head, relative to other driving irons.

I had a demo with the TM Rep last Saturday, and was told it’s only in the stock 6 or 6.5 shafts, until supplies last.

 

I’m almost crying because it did what it was suppose to do, long and boring shots off the tee yet forward enough off the fairways. I actually sold my first UDi because it was going too far and all I needed to do was buy a strong 13.5* 3 wood, which I had to do anyways after swing lessons and improved ball striking.

 

Also looking at the Blueprint two irons which should be a true launch and distance control iron. The stock TM spec meets my swing (40” OAL at 60* lie) vs the Blueprint off a flat lie angle (58*ish) and 39”, who are these Americans I’d like to meet?

 

The TM can be nuked at times but still retains the iron feel thru out the swing.
