Hello Everyone,

 

I've been lurking WRX for a while now and want to check in from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I've been extremely lucky to be part of a family that owns a public golf course and grew up surrounded by the game. I've been playing golf for 16 of my 22 years while working my way down to a 5.9 handicap without ever taking a lesson. Being able to play golf almost every day for free is an amazing privilege, but dealing with a family owned business can definitely have its drawbacks. When I'm not golfing, I love to tinker with equipment and have re-shafted a set of irons, did a custom paint fill on my putter, and sent my chrome Vokeys off to be stripped to a raw finish.

I've played Pickering Valley a lot. My brother just played it last week.

You guys had that great deal this year and sounds like a lot of people took advantage of it.

I moved to the Collegeville area about a year ago, Pickering Valley is on my list of courses to play.
