The hotel is a convention factory, so its crowded no matter if its off season. The golf courses were not as crowded as the hotel.

 

Surprised to see this. In the few times that I've been there (all "in season") the hotel has been a ghost town.

I have been three times in June and it has been dead.

I guess it's hit and miss then. I have been there 2x, once in July and once in August and both times there was a convention going on.

I enjoyed Streamsong. The golf is top notch. I played the Red course. Tough course but fun to play. I walked it. It was very walkable.

 

Like others have said, it is literally in the middle of nowhere. I guess it would be a great guys trip destination if you were able to bring all of your drinks / snacks etc with you, but don’t plan on picking anything up outside the resort once you get there.

So I’m trying to play one of the courses, but will be going as a single. Will I be able to call and get a tee time weeks in advance or will I need to show up first thing that morning and see when they can get me out. I want the whole experience so I want to walk and take a caddy.

You can certainly call them in advance. Fitting in a singe shouldn't be an issue.
