Thanks. I’ll have to try discount dans since my club is big with TM and they couldn’t even get me a set of TWs.

After hitting both, my winner is the Ping Blueprint. Mainly because they're about as easy to hit as my srixon z forged and the ball flight comes out very flat. same shaft as my gamers in all three of the sets, tiX100. The TWs are very nice and I can see why people would game them or collect them, but in terms of playability the Blueprint wins.

still keeping the z forged though.

I had an iron fitting this past weekend and ended up getting fit into the z forged with either the modus3 105X or PX LZ 6.0. Man they are so easy to hit for being a blade. I wish the blueprints would’ve been out last week cause I could’ve hit them as well. But I’m glad to hear that they’re as easy to hit as the z forged!

Looks like I need to get back there and hit the Blueprints to compare them.

Have not hit either TM or ping mb,

Would be comparing them to my current Callaway apex mb, and other Mizuno mb's I have owned in the past. That said, I do look forward to looking at these , especially the Ping, for finally making a forged mb. Congratulations to Ping and Taylormade for stepping up their iron offerings.

> Have we determined the purpose of the screw?

Yes.......

"To maintain precise weighting, without altering the CG location, PING utilizes both tip and toe weights to reach desired specifications. Initially, the machined tungsten toe weight led some to believe the body might be hollow, but its sole purpose is to provide a companion position to the tip where mass can be added for swing weighting purposes, without pulling the center of gravity closer to the heel."

Based on pics alone I’d go with the Taylormade’s. Longer blade length looks better to me. Plus, they surprisingly have more “tech” than the blueprints with the tungsten plug and milled sole.

Better read on the pings. Equal or more tech in those. Dont forget the tungsten in the toe and the hosel. What you have is a perfectly balanced and somewhat perimeter weighted small iron. Not saying the TM iron isn’t an advancement too. That’s why I said equal.

Have to agree on the button. It’s not helpful. Especially in tour talk. There a couple randos over that that just go down disagreeing with every post not making a single rebuttal comment. What does that add to the conversation? You disagree. But if you can’t say why. Then why do you get to say ? Not really shooting that at pinging 77. I’m sure he can say why in this case. But I for one don’t think folks should disagree without an Explanation as to why. Same with the “ ignore list “. It’s hilarious the grown men who are sensitive to being wrong. Now slow down. Someone is going to knee jerk now and call me out as hypocritical. Not so. I’m inviting other views by asking for feedback on a disagreement and also because I never have used the ignore function. It’s those that ignore and disagree quietly who are running from the discussion.

Sorry. Rant over. Just a few issues with this new format that often escalate issues. Posters arguing but ignoring valid points , and random disagree clicks with zero reason given.

Exactly, would much rather he reply and give reason, more fun that way. Now, people can go to your profile and see the count of disagrees, makes look like you post garbage. I don’t care really but I knew it would be a problem when I first

saw it.
