The 60's and 70's song appreciation thread (obscurity welcome)

I was into BMX back in the 70's before getting into golf. Well BMX and baseball. My Dad used to ride his bike 15 miles to get to Jamestown ND which was only real town nearby for him growing up. He believed a kid needed a good mitt and a good bike. I kept breaking the Sears bike frame I had (had to have it welded a few times) so he finally relented and got this Dan Gurney bike (this pic pretty much spot on the bike I had) for me Christmas 1975 I believe. To this day is the best/most memorable gift I ever got.

My birthday present from junior year of H.S.

I had a good friend who had a farm one hour + west of St. Louis. His dad would take 3 teen boys motorcycles and his Suzuki 450 on a trailer two Saturday's a month to this farm. We road for hours. Great times.

1976 Hodaka on/off road 100 cc

I went over the bars 3 times. Collar bone stayed whole, and shoulders too remained in tact.

Speaking of things west of StL. Did you ever head southwest to Eminence? I went on a couple of Church youth trips to that area. Both times we took overnight float trips on the Current river. My wife and I went back and did a 6 hour stint on Jacks Fork, caught a few smallies, splashed around in that crystal clear water a bit. Beautiful country.

Yes it is. That movie did not get much in the way of accolades but I always liked it. Just had a good vibe to it. The cast. Belushi of course. Not sure but think that was Spielberg's movie and would imagine it was a disappointment for him but again I loved it. I mean, I was around 14 and easily amused so SUE ME! lol..

Did not ever get there. Lake of the Ozarks a few times though.

DG made a very good bike back then, as did Haro, Mongoose and Redline but Webco was the big seller in NW Orlando (Pine Hills) back in the mid 70's.

One more from the two wheel catagory and a three wheel classic. The home run Honda came up with that had three really low psi , soft balloon tires the ATC-90 . Pull start that sucker. I road one occasionally in 7th grade as a schoolmate had one. Fun ticket those were.
