Unsure of the XTD Forged wedges that match my irons. Seem to be really low spin for a wedge.

Found a 14* TL 2 fairway wood at Rock Bottom for $25. If it hits as well as the 16* TL I will retire my 13* RBZ. The RBZ has been a good one but the lower profile TL head is just a little easier to hit off the fairway.

ATour/A2Tour Reds Iron Set 5-PW have been a dream (on my second set) and i dread the day i have to replace them again because getting those heads in "mint" condition is $$$$

I'm currently bagging Adams CB2 Forged irons in my bag, love the thin top line and minimal protrusion out the back side. Have a wide sole, but thinking it helps me since I'm a 'digger' (I need to stop descending with the leading edge).

After messing around with golf as a kid and in my 20's, I started to take the game more seriously in the last five-ish years. I picked up a bunch of cheap, current-ish used clubs to replace my hand-me-down 90's knockoffs. My fairway wood was the Adams Tight Lies 16-degree 3-wood, the 2014 version with the slot in the top. Despite not having taken lessons or really having a clue as to what I was doing, I could do no wrong with the Tight Lies. I used it for... really everything. Off the deck, in the rough, out of fairway bunkers. It was so easy to hit that, even if I was way too close to take a full swing (say, 180 yards), I could still just take a little 3/4 swing and advance the ball in the direction I was hitting it.

 

Then I decided that I needed to hit my 3-wood further, so I ditched the Tight Lies for a revolving door of fairway woods. I'm pretty happy with everything in my bag right now EXCEPT the 3-wood. This is unfortunate given that, just a few years ago, my favorite club WAS my 3-wood.

 

Then I spotted a nearly-new Tight Lies 2 in the 14-degree head on eBay with 0 bids. Given that I hit the ball a mile in the air with the 16-degree and wanted a little extra distance out of 3-wood anyways, this seems too perfect. I jumped on it and won the auction for under $30 shipped. Arrives at my door today. I'm happy to be back with Adams, I think.

I've got my XTD Forged irons in the bag right now. I go back and forth between those and my MB2 set. Love my rusted over MB2s.

Still have a set of MB2 in my back up bag. Not sure I will actually ever sell them to be fair! Stripped the finish back a few months ago and they are just so sexy!

Had an Adams hybrid many years ago and was definitely one of the easiest clubs I've ever hit. I've always been a fan of those raw MB2s. I see them pop up from time to time and have considered just snagging a set to keep in a second bag.
