Keeping your feet tight together as you hit the driver. It will feel very restricted at first, but soon you will feel tempo improve, then hit with your normal stance. Hope this helps, it has served me quite well when my tempo gets out of whack!

Thank you!!! A drill!! Thanks. Oddly you mention this as I caught my self on Thursday doing something weird. It was at the end of the session and I was tired so I didn’t get to try anything but since I dislocated my Ankle I have been nursing my foot with that I have been spinning out more than normal. I started a restricted finish to see if it would help and it seem like I was on to something. But. Your drill seems a direct focus. I’ll will try and report back!!!

No. The D-plane tilts as lie angle changes - and so shot shape/direction can be effected but that's not the same as saying the face opens or closes. Those terms are generally only used in terms of face angle or face orientation which doesn't really change with the lie angle.

I am using a 43" driver by accident. I had two friends testing different shafts in a ping g and i have the same driver and i was throwing a few into my head and trying them out. I put in a shaft and started hitting straight bombs. I could not believe it it felt great. Told them i was keeping that shaft and was informed that it was a 3 wood shaft. I didn't even notice. 6 months later i still have it in my driver and have not hit the driver better.

OK went to the range to test this.! For sure there is something with this, BUT it seems my golf swing has way more issue than I thought. I thought I addressed or worked on a lot, but it seems it was all false hopes.

But I need to do a major re-overhaul but this drill may be something I can do in the house to get the body in balance and stable.....

I did this last week. Im only 5'8". I put my m3 3 wood shaft into my M6 driver. I also added a 9g weight to the back. It was 4g. Wow i was so accurate and I didnt lose any yards. I was hitting a fade/slice with the 45 3/4 factory shaft. Hitting all over the club face, a lot of heel shots. Now after 2 rounds i am hitting a straight and/or draw shot. Definitly hitting sweet spot alot more. For now its staying in there. 3 woods shafts weigh a little more than driver shafts so I think they are ok to use in the driver.

I really like the idea of the 3 wood shaft in driver. They've already been trimmed for use in the heavier 3 wood clubhead, and should get you in the right zip code for the length you're looking to play. At that point, it's all about adding weight to the clubhead.

I picked up a Tour Blue 85 3w shaft with Cobra adapter for a song, put it in my Fly-Z+; it's playing 43.5". Over 27 holes (damn thunderstorms) over the past weekend, I had great success. More fairways, and distance was quite good. Experimented with loft a bit, and now I think I'm set.

This is one of the nice aspects of the modern adapter world, shafts are plug-n-play. :)
