Iomic I Classic Mid vs Pistolero Plus

Going through a bit of a putter grip crisis at the moment.

 

Anyone have insight on how close these two grips are in terms of size and feel? I previously had a pistolero plus and loved the feel. Don't love the price for it but am willing to purchase another one if need be. Curious on the Iomic and if it is close to it. Never used an Iomic putter grip but it has my attention. Come to find out the pistol style grip tends to fit my hands best. But need something on the smaller side of midsize, which the pistolero plus seems to be right there.

 

Just purchased a Garsen Quad tour taper and it is not going well.

Similar shape to the Pistolero, close to same weight and just a bit softer and tackier in hand.

I haven't held the Pistolero Plus, just the regular Pistolero...but if I remember my experience with the iClassic correctly, it was very close in terms of feel but the edges were sharper. The Pistolero was a more rounded on the sides meet the top of the grip and the Iomic was a bit more pronounced. I liked the grip, and I have actually sanded down Iomic grips before to soften them up, but I guess it's up to you if you want to risk ruining the grip, lol. I do recall the Iomic feeling larger in the bottom hand, so it may be closer to the Plus vs the original Pistolero.

Thank you @semarlor for the input. Yeah, from most of the research I've done these two grips seem to be really close with each other in terms of size. I'll just have to purchase one and put it on and see how it goes.

I don’t think weight wise they are the same. Are the SNSR all over 100 grams?

They are very close and the Iomic feels better to me. If I remember correctly the weight of the iomic is 74 grams which is lighter than the pistolero.

@oneaugusta thank you. I have one on the way and will see how it goes. I think the pistolero plus is around 80-82 gr if I remember correctly. Wonder where the weight difference comes from?

SNSR Tour Contour is 104cc, 90gm, Pistolero is 85-86gm
