Just saw this bag on Instagram. Kickstarter startup. Other than the super clean look, it has some awesome features.

Attached wireless speaker, Solar rechargeable battery bank and retractable charger for phone and speaker, thermal beverage pocket, magnetic pockets, built in phone holder to record swing videos. Price isn’t bad either. $269

Anyone have this bag yet? If so how do you like it? Wondering what materials this is made of and the weight. Couldn’t find any details on the website.

Is there really a need for all that in your golf bag? Just me but i go to the course to get away from all that stuff

You do, some might not. It’s not going to be the number 1 bag sold but an alternative to those that do care about those things.

Ok, round complete...a few thoughts

I love the looks of this bag, the shape is very appealing. Very sleek. The faux leather is also clothing friendly when carrying. Some hip pads can rough a nice shirt/jacket up from time to time

I walk 90% of my rounds and my gamers are a bit lighter than this bag, and I did notice the extra weigh. Not heavy, but heavier, right at 5 pounds. However, the straps are as comfortable and balanced as anything I have used. Probably my favorite part of the performance was the strap/bag balance.

Pockets were ample for things I needed to carry, even had a jacket in the side pocket with ease. You can probably see from the pic above, I used the water bottle holder for my range finder, was not a problem.

The magnetic pocket closures are going to take some adjustment time Not my favorite part of the bag...felt awkward accessing things while walking . Also missed my trusty Velcro patch for my glove.

 

Tons of comments on the bag and it’s looks. College team was practicing at our club and several asked about it. Also like the solid white and ease of matching/switching headcovers.

 

I think the bag and the base would do well on a push cart, but I prefer to carry. Any questions, fire away.

Awesome. Thanks. Where did you play today? I assume in Birmingham? The magnet thing is one of my favorite ideas. Sucks it isn’t intuitive right away. I do like the idea of white bags going with any headcover game you want to have. Glad to hear the straps are good. How are the legs?

Yes, full length with no tangles.

the magnetic closures are probably on me, just need to get used to them. zero droop on the legs, and easy to deploy.

A bit damp right now, just that time of the year, but the greens are solid.

 

I do like the bag, need a round or 2 more to make sure. I would put the looks at A+ and performance in the B range.

The MNML or the mizuno k1-lo?

 

is the material of the Mizuno similar to that of Sunmountain 2.5+?

Returned the mnml. Great looking bag, just could not get passed the difficult for me to access pockets.

 

the Mizuno is so light, and the pocket configuration is idea for me. Like the white/grey/blue color combo as well.

Been looking at these bags for a while now. Looks great and enjoy it. Please keep us updated on the features and issues. This might kick the Miura Vessel out when/if I upgrade sticks.

Was about to instantly buy the bag based on this post. You're 1.5lbs off. It's a 5lb bag and a no buy for me because of that.

Did you find the placement of the strap on the center handle to be putting too much weight, and that might rush the stitching to come apart over time?

Also did you get the tech kit?  How did the solar pack perform, if you did?

Just wanted to give this a bump with regards to storage space. Yes I know it's called mnml. I'm curious what you put in your bag? Just to see if the storage is gonna be a deal breaker.

Just learned of a cool program with these bags.  You can trade your bag in for a decent credit towards their newest bag every year and your old bag is donated to youth golf programs.

I picked one of the V2 bags up w/o the tech kit recently and really like it.  I have a Vessel cart bag that I typically use, but wanted a lighter stand bag for going to the range etc.  Overall, I like the MNML bag.  I love the all magnetic pockets and found I could use the actual bag strap, which uses velcro to secure itself to the bag to put my glove.  Not sure they intended it for that purpose, but it does work. There is certainly enough pocket space for my needs.

Does this bag fit 14 clubs pretty easily? Any tangle issues to be aware of?

I love this bag, but I also use a 8 or 9 club setup most of the time, and I think it really is better for a minimalist golfer setup. The design is well thought out.  The phone holder is great for the range, especially if you have an Apple watch to start recording the videos.  The magnetic pockets are solid, but there is less pocket storage space than a typical bag.  If you like walking the course, I can't recommend this enough.  The power bank works well, especially if you like using the speaker.   I do have a Sub70 bag if I know I'll be taking a cart, using more clubs, or want to toss in some more drinks.
